Two years ago we had the most wonderful dinner to celebrate my birthday at the beautiful restaurant at Manoir D'Hautegente. Recently we went again to celebrate our move to our new home in the Dordogne. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by the lovely Julie and served by her lovely daughter. We had an aperitif by the river with... More

Our evening last week end was simply unforgettable. The unique setting of the Manoir combined with exquisite cuisine and out of this world service made our gathering of old friends a moment we will cherish for a very long time. Thank you Patrick, Mary Jo and the entire staff. Etienne Veber

We've been here to their restaurant twice in the evening recently, once with friends for a 60th celebration, the other for drinks on the lawn. Both times the initial expectations of a stunning evening were badly dented by the slow and inattentive service. You arrive down a long avenue of fabulous topiaries that reveal the most picturesque manoir bathed in... More

The hotel and grounds were beautiful. What a treat to stop after a long drive and relax in such beautiful surroundings. There is nothing to fault here at all. There was games for the kids to play on the lawn a quiet area to sit and have drinks by the river. A swimming pool which was secluded and beautifully maintained.... More

Second time for us. We stay here on the way South after a day on the road from the Channel ports. The Manoir is a large, beautiful country house on a river, not far from Sarlat. Very pretty gardens, secluded pool. We took another family room this year. 2 x singles with a double in a gallery. Very nice, and... More

The hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning! The room was beautifully decorated and very well appointed. We had a wonderful meal on the terrace, the food and service were excellent. As it was our Wedding Anniversary the delightful owner sent over a complimentary glass of champagne, which was a lovely guesture. The staff were all exceedingly friendly and professional. Highly... Wonderful family experience with great family rooms, smiling happy staff and exquisite gastronomy! All in an enchanted garden with a stream going through. A best stop over when crossing France. When traveling with kids suggest you take any of the family rooms
