Well , I stayed for one night , it is certainly bijou , my knees touched the wall , whilst on the toilet, small ? I had to go outside to change my mind. But , It was clean , warm , charming, hosts are typically French , look miserable, but extremely helpful. A nice place for a overnight stay....

Very friendly. Great shaded terrace to the front! Slightly noisy with traffic at tea time, but lots of cakes and an opportunity to watch the world go by. The white wines we had were cool and refreshing. We returned another day to sample the beers!

Easy to park. Lots of bits and bobs and old furniture in this great little quirky hotel. Delicious breakfast on small terrace outside hotel. The room was comfortable and super clean. Charming owners. Very helpful.

We only stayed for one night as part of a cycling holiday, but it was lovely. The rooms are small but comfortable, although you need to carry bags up a winding staircase which can be a struggle. The best part of the hotel is the shady terrace outside where you can have drinks from the bar, and where breakfast is...

Having driven up from Provence we were looking for a good night's sleep. However, at 10.15 pm we were woken by a family going into the next room. We listened to the horrendous noise of children shouting and screaming with parents talking at the top of the voices for about 15 minutes. We rang to reception and asked for something...

We have had the great pleasure of having spent two days in this Bijoux hotel. It really is unique ,with so many personal touches, facinating and interesting decor,a very uplifting place to stay. The hosts Jean Luc and Jean Paul are so kind and charming, the food is excellent and attention to detail makes this place very special. Highly recommended.

if you want a delicious, healthy, beautifully prepared lunch! My husband and I enjoyed one of the best meals of our week in Dordogne at this tea room. The two gentlemen proprietors have the highest standards and truly want to give excellent food and service to their clientele. We could not have asked for better!!!

We stayed here for one night on a stop over. We had a twin room and double room, both were clean but very small with dated bathrooms. We didn't receive the warmest of welcomes but the staff were polite and efficient. Breakfast was ok. Le forét is fine for just one night.

The location of the hotel is easy to find, just on the corner of Lalinde 2 min stroll to the centre. The hotel has fifteen individually decorated bedrooms, and offers wireless connection to the internet. The decor creates a charming and romantic atmosphere. Period furniture collected from the antique dealers and shops of Périgord gives a certain touch which creates...
