We are on a 6 day self managed walking tour in the Dordogne area and this was one of our overnight stops. Just out of Meyrals, so peaceful and welcoming. Our host Andrew was so friendly and helpful. We dangled our hot feet in the pool, accepted a welcome beer. Relaxed on the outdoor recliners, played table tennis, ate our...

Andrew and Melanie, who own La Borie Chic, were the most helpful, kind and obliging people. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they looked after us so well. The gite was well appointed, everything is as you see on the website; breakfast was plentiful and always served on time, and there is a BBQ area if you want...

We stayed during May and felt really welcome by our hosts. Beautiful setting and perfect location for sight seeing. Spacious and spotless rooms liked the coffee machine and fridge in room. Weather was mixed but we made good use of the large private pool and liked the fact we had our own patio area to relax on. Breakfast was ample...

If you want the French experience do not go to La Borie Chic. The bedroom and bathroom are very basic especially the beds. Our breakfast was delivered to outside our room and consisted of cold floppy croissants some toasted brioche and a carton of processed mixed fruit in syrup that you buy prepacked from the supermarket.

We had 7 nights here and the standard could not have been better. Andy and Mel are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The area is outstanding and this is an excellent base for days out into central Dordoigne. Having breakfast bought to the terrace was a bonus. The swimming pool was clean with plenty...

My wife and I have just spent 5 nights in this excellent B&B. Andrew and Melanie could not be better hosts, the room was wonderful, quite and cool. And as the temperature climbed into the 30's this was most welcome. Breakfast was served by our hosts in our room and was more than adequate. The swimming pool was very welcome....

My husband and I only spent one night here, but wished it could have been longer. Melanie and Andrew were excellent hosts and seemed very willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation was spacious and included a fridge as well as an outdoor patio and table as well as a very welcome swimming pool. We enjoyed...

This is a lovely property to stay at. The accommodations are completely self contained, with all you need for a comfortable stay and separate from the home, which is lovely after travelling for a while. The property is very well maintained and the pool area is very inviting. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The small town it is...
