My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September. We selected this particular place because the owner was able to secure advance tickets to an English tour at the Font de Gaume Cave, nearby. This was a much anticipated excursion for us so we were quite excited about it. However, my husband and I agree...

We stayed in the Grapevine self catering apartment. It was well furnished with rustic decor that is suited to the building and everything that we needed was there (including a cork screw). The beds are comfortable with a low lying rustic beam through both bedrooms upstairs (very grateful for the ceiling fans). Through the back door is a terrace, which...

What a great time we just had at Le Chevrefeuille. Sara's brilliant advice on the (stunning) local area and Ian's outstanding food made our stay at this beautiful place all the more enjoyable. We stayed in the family suite with our two daughters which was great. The children loved playing in the gardens and swimming pool with the friends they...

We stayed here in May 2015 and had the best time. Nothing was a problem for our hosts Sarah and Ian. We were not feeling well the first night we arrived so didn't want to venture out so Ian kindly prepared a beautiful cheese platter for us. Breakfast was great each day. Loved the coffee maker. Our 3 course meal...

We were fortunate to stay at Le Chevrefeuille in May 2015 for several days while we were in the Perigord Noir. Our room was in the restored barn, and opened to our own private patio with a view of the back yard and pool. Breakfast was lovely, as were our hosts! We got great advice about where to go and...

My family and I just spent an amazing week at this fantastic Chambre D'hôte. If you are looking for a stay in an authentic farmhouse in the Dordogne then this is the place! We stayed in one of their 2 bedroom gîtes which has been cleverly converted to include all the modern facilities that a travelling family could need without...

Le Chevrefeuille may be the best place we've ever stayed with kids. Our kids (2, 5, and 7) had a blast, and have been lobbying heavily for a return next year -- which seems like an excellent idea. ;) It's perfectly set up for families, with a wonderful setting, gated pool, and a garden dotted with games and amenities perfect...

My friend and I signed up for a market tour and cooking class with Ian. I was nervous as I am no chef. It didn't matter. Nearly everything we made I am going to try to make at home. Mostly he showed us that it makes a difference if you use food you love. Our trip to the market was...
