We were greeted by a friendly, helpful English-speaking young man and were both provided rooms in a house/annexe 75 yards from the hotel reception. The evening meal was reasonable, but we were disappointed that the restaurant was not open every night, which resulted in us walking into the town centre to seek a takeaway (kebab or pizza). Breakast was a limited continental fayre. Parking was good with an undercover facility if required.
The proprietor was helpful and drinks from the bar to take onto the terrace were available when the restaurant was open.
Would have considered a higher rating if the room was not as basic and dated as it was, with no air-conditioning (should that have been required).
There was an error with our bill where we were charged for food items that we had not ordered!! We could not find where that error had occurred.

New building... In its vintage juice, room cleanliness fair.
At breakfast at 9:15, we were too ... invisible among indifferent employees who were busy loudly in their training tasks ... very unpleasant to feel awkward!
At the reception unkind, obviously little interest for customers.
To avoid not to be disappointed!

Room unworthy of a three star, not soundproof, the window does not close, you have to stand in profile to access the bed... Basic bathroom. We were in the old building which has aged badly... The only positive point was the very decent lunch buffet.

We stayed in room 207 until September 2 in the morning for 3 nights.
The restaurant part, nothing to say, it's serious, the chef sends the quality on the plate, well done to him.
On the other hand, at the hotel level, it is catastrophic.
In fact, as soon as we entered the room, all the slats of the laminate flooring came off to such an extent that we had difficulty opening the door! But the problem is that the whole floor is ruined, it buckles everywhere (I attach photos to my comment) in short, I logically ended up with a foot injury. We also had company in the room since the spiders were among us with their webs (see photo). And I can continue a long list: broken tiles in the bathroom, an old bathtub without even a shower curtain and the pinnacle is the big soundproofing problem, you can hear what is happening in the bathroom of the 206 .And the slamming doors in the hallway!
I was busy at reception with an adorable but very tired lady (you surprise me, we find the evening catering staff the next morning... where are the 11 hours of work between the end and the start of service?) the owner was far away in the park smoking. He doesn't seem very concerned about customer problems, no commercial gesture after this catastrophic series. The hotel's website is a dream, swimming pool (we learned on site that it is not heated) luxury cars but only on the site... in short the label does not correspond to the product

To be absolutely avoided, here is an establishment where the manager does not train his staff, neglects them, despises them: waitresses in the restaurant not knowing the wine list, the cleaning staff do not have any suitable modern equipment, obliged to wear heavy loads on several floors (seen with my eyes).
This boss smokes in reception, the CB payment terminal has obviously been broken for several days, requiring payment in cash (I think that suits him).
The restaurant: the cook is not up to par, the dishes are mediocre!!!
The establishment itself has been swimming in its own juice for too long without work...

We spent one night in Florac at the start of a road trip in the South of France. Whilst research told us there was a restaurant in the hotel, when we arrived it was closed. We walked into the town for dinner and had a stroll around. We were given a very large but strangely configured room which was very quiet and comfortable. Hotel served a standard breakfast in the dining room. Good value for money.

The kindness of the owners who went out of their way to find a room more suited to our grandpa at no extra cost. Very clean hotel, we loved the old charm. Despite the heatwave, the heat was bearable. Hearty breakfast with local products. Great value for money

We had not booked a room and were pleased that the hotel was able to accommodate us at short notice. Our room was large with a good sized bathroom and very comfortable. We were disappointed that we were unable to dine at the restaurant - I had assumed that tables would be available for hotel guests. We had had a long day and did not want to have to find somewhere else, and the hotel was unable to offer any alternative eating places. We eventually found another resaurant and had one of the best meals of our holiday. I would rfecommend booking ahead if you wnat to stay & eat at this hotel.
Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. Florac is a beautiful village and I'd love to return to explore more.

A very nice hotel with large, well-kept park and a large, pleasant swimming pool. Perfect room very clean and cleaned every day. The restaurant's meals are of very good quality and the setting is pleasant. The hotel is well located close to everything. All the staff are pleasant, smiling, available and do everything to make your stay pleasant and it's a success!!! Many thanks to the entire competent and pleasant team. We will come back and recommend this hotel and its restaurant.

The hotel is old, seems like it stayed on from the 80s, except for the shower. Just the shows, not the rest of the bathroom.

Service was adequate and the hotel was clean and well taken care of. We stayed for two nights with a group and also had our meals and a very good and abundant picnic bag for one day trip.

I recommend it for what it is: a local hotel that serves it purpose with. certain dignity and efficiency.
