Le Rochefort is a decent hotel about 1 km outside of Florac. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our rooms were quiet and faced away from the road. The WiFi did not work in the rooms, although it worked well in the lobby. The breakfast was of average quality and included croissants, baguettes and yogurt. Unfortunately, the staff was not very helpful and seemed fairly uninterested in helping us to have a pleasant stay.

The hotel looks a bit tired and run down, especially from the outside it doesn't look like a place you would want to stay. The inside is however quite different, the rooms are good, the staff friendly and the food served for dinner was unexpectedly delicious. Breakfast however was French standard. The location is great for exploring the gorges du Tarn, and for an overnight stay before you set out this place is recommended.

A pleasant & warm welcome on a very warm day. Supper was good & well served; breakfast was simple but good with a variety of foods which were served to each table. The room was reasonable & clean but would certainly benefit from modernisation; the shower was very compact with an old flimsy box cubicle which was hard-up against the sink & wc - not at all easy for someone who is 1.88 metres! There is plenty of parking to the front & side of the hotel.
