A friendly greeting awaited us and our room was gorgeous. Spacious bedroom, well appointed bathroom and very clean. The grounds were also lovely to wander around. We were recommended a restaurant for dinner and reservations were made for us! A shame we were only staying one night.

Everything about the Hotel is lovely. The Owners were gracious und helpful. If I ever dreamed about a house in France I wanted to live in this would be it. Room was nice and cosy with fireplace, bathroom was modern and spacious. The gardens around the house were the way you would picture it in a sweet dream.

We stayed one night at Chateau Plessis. It is a beautiful and relaxed place with gorgeous grounds - I can highly recommend a wander through the gardens - a swimming pool, and of course the chateau itself is lovely. Breakfast was a delight. The hosts were gracious and friendly and we left feeling revived. Lots of history on show -...

We stayed just the one night on our way south. Our room was very spacious, well appointed bathroom. We enjoyed a swim in the lovely pool. Walked around the pretty peaceful gardens and woods. We had a very nice meal in the dining room, pity we were on our own. All the other guests were otherwise occupied. Valérie et Laurent...

My daughter and I stayed two nights and it was wonderful. Dinner in the dining room with the other guests was special. Everyone was so well behaved and quiet it was like being in a cathedral. Although a small chateau, the surrounding gardens and woods are enough to get lost in. We went down to the river nearby to do...

The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Wandering around the rose covered chateau leaves one with a feeling of enchantment. There is a beautiful garden to explore and a wonderful pool for a swim. You will never have a better meal than those served at Du Plessis Anjou and the amazing home made croissant...

We stayed at the Chateau du Plessis Anjou in early May of 2016 and were glad that we decided to go off the beaten track a bit. We were in a rental car and found the areas of Savennieres, Chinon and, of course, Angers, within a comfortable driving distance. The countryside of France is remarkable and it is a joy...

We had a fantastic stay at the Chateaux. Magnificent gardens. Lovely bedroom. The owners cooked us a beautiful meal with fresh veggies from the garden. We dined in the stately dining room with a wonderful bottle of wine. Annack the Fox terrier came for a walk with us through the pretty woods. Would definitely recommend the Chateaux du Plessis for...

Stayed here for one night during a motorcycle adventure with my friend. The chateaux itself is a magnificent building and typical of french architecture. The food was excellent as was the wine, our rooms were very comfortable and well laid out with views over the gardens. The gardens are extensive and very well kept, there is a swimming pool for...

We stayed here en route to Caen (about 2.5 hrs from the Chateau. We were greeted on arrival by one of the elder children who helped us with our luggage to our room. It is a beautiful, real chateau in middle of beautiful Loire Valley countryside. The family were very welcoming to us and our dogs and showed us to...
