We stayed two nights at this Motel as we wanted to see the Taquamemnon Falls (which are nice, but nothing special). This "Motel" consists of 2 Double-Cabins with one room each. The rooms are OK, we slept very well, but the furniture shows a bit wear and tear. However, the benefits and the plus of this place are the location....

I stayed in Unit 4. The owners were friendly and helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. My room had a kitchenette and tiny bathroom. It was small and outdated but clean. The wifi didn't work and the owner said they haven't been able to get service in units 3 and 4. The lock was sticky and I had trouble locking...

Older duplex units, clean rooms - they provided tennis racquet type bug zappers to every room- very close to Lake Superior. Extremely friendly hosts, about 2 miles nort of Paradise, MI., and just a few miles south of Whitefish Point. The Superior Shipwreck Museum is located at Whitefish Point, and a history of the many Lake Superior shipwrecks is outlined...

Really liked this. Great location maybe 30 feet from Lake Superior. We had a kitchenette and if we were staying longer than one night, would have been great. Coffee maker and coffee provided for first morning. Plenty of hot water and good shower. Two beds..one cushy, one hard. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Covered parking which was ideal for our...

This is a great little property with four cabins set up as two duplexes. The owners really are there to serve and help the visitors. North woods cabins run from 'rustic' to 'modern'. I would rate this more toward the modern side. The inside of the cabin was paneled (no bare logs), and the furniture was 'normal'. We stayed in...

We stayed here in April for a extended weekend getaway to the UP. We loved this place- very clean, beautiful scenery. We enjoyed watching the Freighters. The owner, Duane, was very accommodating and provided helpful information for local hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Hope to be back!

My husband and I with our 2 dogs stayed here for three nights in February to snowshoe around Tahquamenon Falls. The owner Duanne was very accommodating and concerned that we had a nice stay and everything we needed. The room was very clean and roomy enough for us. The kitchenette was well equipped and had everything we needed. One bed...

We stayed here on a September trip to the UP. Found it to be very comfortable and reasonably priced. Place was clean and well maintained and couldn't be much closer to the water if it tried. Great location for checking out Whitefish Point and Tahquamenon Faills

My husband and I loved this place! Friendly and helpful owners. We loved that it was cozy and clean. This is just the kind of place we wanted for an up north adventure. If you expect the Mariott (Which is really dumb if your in the North Woods) then this place is not for you. The comments about this place...

We were very happy with our stay here in mid-September 2014. My husband & I love the little mom & pop motels over the "name brand" places and were quite taken with this little place right on the water. The room was large with 2 very comfortable beds, sofa, coffee maker. And the bathroom, while small, was spotless - which...
