My husband and I loved coming here. We came on our motorcycle after hours and they stayed open until we got there. And the owner also washed and dried our very wet clothes from the ride up. Very friendly people.

Owner is a sweeheart. My husband and I booked our reservation the day before our arrival and Nancy only had a room with one bed available the first night but two queens the second night. We said okay, and asked her to hold a room if any cancellation came in. We stopped by when we got to town, and told...

I certainly wouldn't give this place a 3 1/2 star rating. However, we've been coming here for years, usually staying one night on our way to our land near Paradise. It is clean, quiet and a good stop for overnight when you just need a place to sleep and shower, a no frills motel. The owner, Nancy, is very nice.

This place was actually exactly like I expected it to be. Cinder block rooms, outdated furniture; but, warm and dry and reasonably clean and comfortable. A good place to stay if you are going to get in late and leave early. I probably would have stayed somewhere a little nicer if I was planning on being in my room any...

Went there for our anniversary the room was old but clean until we found 4 bedbugs in the bed. Yes we got our money back but our vacation was over. I hope they took care of the situation correctly. 10/3/2015

The room was about what you would expect for the $60 price tag in a town that has little to offer. The room had a small microwave and mini fridge, both of which came in handy for us since there are very few decent places to eat in town. Overall the motel was decent and had wifi which was a...

This was a fine motel. I believe it is the least expensive motel in Paradise. It was old style, but clean. We slept well. There is no A/C, but generally you don't need it here. There was a frig and a microwave. There is WiFi, but the walls are so thick (cinderblock) I couldn't get it in the room, we...

We stayed in room 9 for one night. The motel is updated from outside, so it looks ok from the road. But rooms are prehistorical!... No one put money into upgrade for very long time.... And I am not talking about new TV. I am talking about fixing outlets (my phone charger felt out of it),cleaning out dust (its everywhere...

My husband and I knew what we were getting into when we checked into the Vagabond, but we still like to look back and chuckle at how we slept entirely clothed with hoodies on our heads so our skin wouldn't touch the rubber sheets. The room was painted cinder block and sparsely furnished, good for a no frills stay while...

Quaint motel. For $54 a night, you get a double bed, a couch with a pullout, table and chair, desk and chair, recliner,TV, fridge, microwave, an impeccable bathroom and a family that lives on the premises and takes pride in the motel.
