Owners were friendly and welcoming, located in quiet, beautiful neighborhood and we road bikes throughout enjoying the well kept homes. Nice breakfast and bikes were included which was a plus. We stayed in the Seaside Room and the main bed was fine, but I was told that the twin was uncomfortable.

Candlewyck House was a sweet surprise as a last minute decision to stay in Pentwater for the night. The owners are extremely welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful and the conversation was very enjoyable. We will surely return to Candlywyck when we are in Pentwater again.

We stayed at the Candlewyck Inn this past weekend and were very pleased. It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we found it to be great!! The owners are great the rooms were nice and very clean. We had a great full breakfast and enjoyed all the local stories including the big foot sightings. We had...

Located just blocks from the main street in Pentwater, the owners are seasoned veterans and provide a wonderful B & B experience. Loved the bikes and outdoor seating areas. Only negative comment is what we felt was an excess of knickknacks resulting in less bedroom space for our personal belongings. The town is very family friendly and the parade was...

My husband and I decided to head to Northern MI for an overnight to celebrate his retirement. We didn't make reservation and decided we'd see what we could find. We found the Candlewyck in a brochure and what a gem! When we called we were greeted by a very friendly voice who gave us directions and promised to be on...

Until we actually buy a place in Pentwater, we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else than Candlewyck House with John and Mary Jo Neidow. More than hosts, they make you feel like family, even chiding you when you pitch in to clean up the breakfast table. Rooms are always well kept and comfortable, and any additional needs are addressed promptly. The...

We have been staying at the Candlewyck Bed and Breakfast for years. It is an extremely friendly and comfortable place to stay. Mary Jo and John, the owners, have always made us feel welcome and settled in as so as we walk through their doors. The breakfasts are sensational, and the location of this B&B is well within a short...

We had English Ivy Suite & friends stayed in Hannah's Hideaway. Both rooms were awesome. Clean & comfortable & private. Owners are SO friendly! We took a tandem bike out for a ride before breakfast. Then shared a heaping plate of omelet with everyone. Home-made muffins and a huge bowl of fresh fruit balanced it out! Lots of treats always...

We were greeted at the front door by John and given a tour of the 1868 house. The area of the house we stayed in (the Fireside Room) was a 1990’s addition. Our second floor room had a queen bed (and a twin bed), gas fireplace, small fridge, mini microwave, coffee pot, TV and VCR, a sitting area, and a...

My husband and I love old houses and own a 115 year old house ourselves, so we are attracted to cute, quaint historical accommodations. The Candlewyck House is inviting with a lovely garden. We were excited when we got there. We were there with a group of friends so we were able to see all the rooms. They are decorated...
