Came up for skiing on a very cold afternoon. 2 parts to hotel,we were in the separate lodge. Good view of the bay from a few miles away. Large clean rooms. New beds and tvs. Older design, new paint. They offer a 24(?) hour cafeteria at no charge. Great for teens. Also free haircuts in an attached salon(!?!). Close to...

I wish I could rate this place higher because it's really cool that they have the free buffet and cart ports. However, when people stay at a hotel they are really looking for a nice room. The Save A Lot buffet couldn't cover up the fact that neither of the bed sheets had been changed from the previous guests. There...

I'm sorry you weren't satisfied with your linen. It is very unusual for us to get complaints about our linen. We never ask our guests to change their own sheets. I think something is missing from this story. We are replacing all of our carpets with wood floors. We have recently replaced all of our lamps with adjustable medusa lamps....

The hotel is pretty clean with all the expected offerings (bed, tv, breakfast, etc.) but also offered haircuts. Certainly unique. Movies were available, and were cheap, but also included snacks (don't recall how that worked). Room was clean and snug. Beds were cozy.

While this hotel is nothing special, it sure is a pretty decent place to stay. Hotel is older style but very well kept up. Rooms were spotless and in good repair. Room size was very large. It was kind of strange that they had free haircuts and free food all day long. Even though the food was pretty basic quality,...

We stayed here December 26-29th. We had planned on staying another couple of nights but decided to travel downstate to finish our vacation. They offered us a "bay view" but there really wasn't a view. We might have been able to see a teeny tiny corner of the bay from our room if we tried real hard. The rooms are outdated...

This is just one corner of a sweet spot that has everything, and I mean everything that this grateful traveler wants! A smile, hot coffee, always fresh ( the manager put on a fresh pot just for me, and I didn't have to ask!)...breakfast, lunch and quick dinner items... for me it was the excellent chicken noodle soup and a...

This place has it all! More conveniences - including an extensive dining room (included with stay). We had an unusual incident regarding the parking that required speaking to the owner, but he resolved it completely to our satisfaction. Thank you, @ Michigan Inn & Lodge!

My family came back here as we were going skiing to Nubs Nob. I remember the beds being comfortable when we where here 2 years ago but I think they are even more comfortable. Soft sheets and I like that they now use a regular fluffy comforter instead of those nylon bedspreads, the beds felt more like home. We were...

This is a great place that not too many know about. The rooms are great, and the food is above and beyond. The only negative is that if you are not going to have carpeting (which is ok) you need a bigger rug as you enter the room. We kept having to mop up water because the rug was not...

We booked the two room suite. Very spacious, with full kitchen. Howevery the stove's oven had some unidentifiable debris. Very disgusting. House keeping failed in cleaning. At checkout I reported it to the clerk and was given 10% off. That was nice. The all you can eat cafeteria is overly exaggerated. The online pics show various kinds ds of soups,...
