Very clean, friendly staff, and great location downtown. If you're looking for a break from the big chains, this is it. A better location and 30% less expensive than the "Big Box" outfits on the freeway. Will stay again when in the area.

I would rather rate this as 'good' instead of either 'very good' or 'average' but c'est la vie. You can tell they have renovated, and it was very clean. I have to agree with other posters about the hilarious bathroom door - if you opened it on someone who was sitting on the toilet, you'd likely break their knee caps....

The room is nice and clean with a microwave and fridge. The paint is fresh, and it's a generally pleasant room. I'm prompted to write this review; however, because the bathroom door is installed backward... opening into the center of a tiny little bathroom. I literally had to stand in the shower to open the door enough to exit the...

Fire Code requires all doors to open INWARD in case of an emergency. If a door had to be breached and opened OUTWARD, what do you do if the door knob breaks off? With inward swinging doors you breach the entry with a shoulder, foot and force.

We stayed last weekend and if you are looking for a hotel with a great location, clean, good friendly staff, this is for you. By no means is it fancy or a five star, but within walking distance to about 15 bars and restaurants.

I really didn't want to give this a poor rating because the staff was really trying their best. I called them a few times with questions and they were always friendly and helpful. We thought the location was good. It was easy to get on and off the main street and it was close to the border. They also offered...

We needed a room for one night in Pt. Huron and did not wish to pay a lot. This hotel offers a good value/budget alternative to the chains. They did not offer on-line reservations but the phone experience was fast and friendly. . It is evident that they are trying to present a clean and updated motel for a value...

I've stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff is very friendly. It's within walking distance to the Conference center and bars and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

Glad I found MAIN STREET LODGE. I travel to P.H. 4-5 times a year on business. The hotel had been closed the past 3 years, but nowe under new owners and a total building renovation, the place looks like new. Very clean and very quiet. There's no pool, but the low room rates and large size rooms beat everyone in...

My trip was for business. The hotel is great and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was available, which is something I always look for. Room was really nice and was quiet as well. Looks like everything has been renovated. Good price too! Will definitely stay again!

We stayed at the MainStreet Lodge during ChillyFest. Had heard it was redone and very nice. They have redone it from top to bottom. Clean, stylish, our room had a big refrig. The desk people were super nice. Great location in downtown Port Huron. We'll be back for sure.
