I stayed at this Delta/Marriot for one night before catching a flight in the morning. I chose this hotel as I'm a Bonvoy member and the price was very reasonable compared to hotels in the area. The hotel itself has a large modern lobby for guests to gather and has a full-service restaurant, panty and a coffee shop. Check-in was seamless and my room for one night was a good size. The room itself was clean and had plenty of outlets for charging devices. The hotel's free wifi was easy to connect to and had a good clean, strong signal. There is a charge for parking like in many airport hotels, and you can pay by a parking app, which makes it convenient. The Fitness center had ample equipment for a good workout and I had a nice meal at Delta Prime Steakhouse. Overall a pleasant experience for a one-night stay.…

I looked at reviews from another website and the average was 4.25 stars. Wrong! First, let me say the staff is phenomenal as is the shuttle driver. The location in proximity to the airport is good. The main entrance was closed, directing people to use the side door, which had no automation or proper lighting. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The HVAC system in the room made an unusual noise all night, which meant I did not rest well at all. Maybe I should not have assumed it would be a higher quality hotel because it was attached to Delta and Marriott? It served it purpose for me, just disappointed in the brand.

First and foremost if you value any of your money don't go there whether the room is $40 $20 $15 or $150 do not spend it there! None of the housekeeping staff know what the word late check out means and none of them know what the word do not disturb on your door means they will walk in anytime they want with or without knocking and nobody seems to care they will come to your room they will say smart things to you disrespectful things to you and by them I mean the morning supervisor not the manager or not the assistant manager but the supervisor little white girl has a mouth on her and says whatever she wants to say to the customer whether it's true or not true she embarrasses them that things and just downright rude she says things that she doesn't even have the right to say she also assumes things and makes phone calls on the customer's behalf that she shouldn't have made she has a smart little mouth. As far as Yolanda goes she thinks because she works at Spirit airlines makes her better.than anyone else .She talks down to you doesn't do her job and even tells you off she doesn't care who you are. No wonder she has 2 jobs with her attitude spirit probably doesn't want her attitude full time she's RELENTLESS when speaking to guests…

Our family flew into Detroit from Minnesota because it looks like it will give us the best way to get back to Jacksonville tomorrow (we fly non-rev aka standby). This was truly a last minute booking, and let me just say the staff did an AMAZING job helping our family. When you FIRST get here, it has the look of a former mall or strip. Not really great curb appeal…. But the staff more than makes up for it! The two young women at the front desk assisted us with quick, courteous service in getting us checked in. Shortly after getting to our room, my daughter realized she left her purse at the airport! Front desk assisted us in calling the shuttle to make sure it wasn’t there, then had the shuttle take me back to the airport to look for it (I found it!), and then bringing me back to the hotel. Bobby (the driver) was very courteous and was kind throughout the entire ordeal. The location when you pull up doesn’t look like it will be anything to write home about, but the staff is/was amazing, and the room itself was very clean and welcoming. I definitely recommend this location for those traveling to/from airport, and for any quick stays throughout your travel. We’re only here for one night, but will def stay again when we come thru Detroit. Thank you Delta staff at Metro Detroit!!!!…

We were impacted by a Southwest cancellation and booked the Delta Hotel by Marriott Metro Airport same day. The room is clean, well appointed, WiFi easy to connect to and they allowed very late check-out since the replacement flight (on Delta) isn't until late. The hotel staff has been very friendly and super accomodating! Yolanda at the front desk and Sapphire in the restaurant were especially nice and helpful. When we need a hotel in the area again, we won't hesitate to come back. David O

This hotel is run down. You walk in and directly in front of you by the lobby is a leaking ceiling with debris falling with a bucket. Who knows when they even picked up the debris because it is surrounding the bucket. Only place that was warm was your room. We had to sit in the restaurant with a jacket on. I would have expected way more from a Delta Marriott.

I'm really conflicted about this review. GOOD - the location to the airport was perfect and they offer a shuttle! The lobby was clean, tidy, and the reps were friendly. Checking in and out was easy. The room, overall, was okay. It was a typical Marriott room....BUT... BAD - ....the room was not as clean as it should have been. I've been in very immaculate Marriott rooms and this was not it. There were cobwebs, dust, and dirt in the bathroom and in the bedroom area. In addition, the door on the bathroom did not close all of the way...why? It was a little awkward staying with my sister. Lastly, the coffee place downstairs was not open on a Saturday due to staffing. Why can't we get coffee on a Saturday? Overall, I expect more from the Marriott brand. Hire more staff and give this hotel a bit more TLC.…

The pictures and reviews are nice but the hotel was disgusting. The carpets are so dirty that we felt like not removing our shoes. The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel and they have a Starbucks which was closed this morning. The staff was friendly and there is a bar that stays open late but the property is an old Radisson and to think Marriott put their name in this property is crazy. Never staying there again.

Was visiting on business. My two associates booked the same room as me for 159/night. Mine was ~$200 for the night. This was the base cost. When i asked about the rate i was told the lower rate was not possible. ??? So $200 a night for an average hotel. Imagine my surprise when i also had to pay $10 for parking. This is in the middle of nowhere and they charged an additional parking fee. I get to Detroit on a regular basis but will NEVER stay here again. Staff was friendly and it was clean though.

I was stuck in Detroit due to canceled flight and chose this due to Marriott name. Despite what they say this hotel is more like a Motel 6, not a Marriott Front desk very rude when I was asking why an extra $100 was placed on my card ( which 3 days later still has not been refunded despite calling). Hallway had mildew smell and walls in room were paper thin. The bed was comfortable but couldn't sleep due to noise from hallway and next room all night. They do have airport shuttle running every 30 minutes which is why I gave any stars. For one night they charged my credit card $290! Stay at ANY other airport hotel!!!
