Convenient location near Airport and Shuttle option available. One night stay for business. Check-in was easy, parking available, friendly service, quiet hotel. The facilities felt old and outdated, noisy AC and old TV. No restaurant, they seem to be working on opening one.

Rooms need work, extremely noisy heating system. Dated and rooms looking old. Front desk personnel helpful and friendly. Used the ParkSleepFly booking which included taxes and was surprised to find additional room taxes applied to my bill at hotel. Management will not reimburse extra tax charges. Will not be returning to this hotel. Very disappointed with this Four Points by Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport Hotel

I think you will get better value and sleep at any other hotel in Romulus. Beds were uncomfortable, fridge is extremely loud, and the heating cooling system is even louder. The chair in the room had a large stain on the seat, and the toilet seat was barely hanging on the toilet. Definitely the worst four points I’ve been to.

It’s not bad enough, that flights get cancelled but if your lucky 🤔 delta gives you a voucher for this poc, Marriott is going downhill fast, Not only is their mediocre restaurant closed, they offer nothing for breakfast so your kind of stuck here, unless you like gas station breakfast from down the street. They have food 🤔 for purchase in the lobby with delivery charge included, but if you can’t eat it with a spoon don’t bother, because even though there was a restaurant there they only have plastic spoons. (I’m sure if I worked there I could find a fork at the restaurant that is now closed.)

Stayed prior to our flight to use the park and fly. Our friends recommended this and it was our first time using the park and fly and it work out brilliantly. We arrived and checked in, went for dinner and then took the vehicle over to the park and fly and quickly jumped a shuttle back to the hotel. No waiting, no big hoopla, it was easy. Our rooms were clean and the shower, oh the shower was lovely, lots of water pressure it was ideal. The hotel restaurant was under construction however the front desk made some lovely recommendations for dinner and it was not a bother at all. The morning was simple, we knew the time of the shuttles, we arrived in the lobby 10 minutes early, grabbed a coffee and along came the shuttle a few minutes early. We were the only guests shuttling over to DTW and it was simple. Would highly recommend staying at this location, everything was close the staff were amazing and rooms fit our needs.

The pillows were very soft and comfortable. Also the mattress was very comfortable. Nothing to dislike about this Hotel. I really liked to how I can watch the planes come in by my window. I also liked to how warm the pool was.

I booked via park stay and fly because we needed to pay for parking anyway. I booked last year also and left the car in the hotel parking lot with no issues. This year we had to take the car to the airlines parking lot in the morning before our flight and then shuttle to the airport. When we checked in we gave the girl our dates for parking and she filled out the certificate and we were off. My reservation says it included 11 days of parking but when we were exiting the parking lot they said we had to pay $24 more because the certificate issued was only good for 8 days regardless of the dates they put down. So I have called the hotel twice now and was told the manage would call and they have not. And its been 2 weeks. There was another couple in our group that also was charged this and are wanting money back. Hotel is fine fir the 6 hours I was there but I likely won't use them a 3 time if they ignor me

Stayed one night using the sleep/park/fly option. To my surprise (website doesn't clearly state - you have to search for it) bar/restaurant closed "until further notice" - which I am told is next year. Room I stayed in had cracks on the ceiling (looked bad), very poor lighting, no upgrade (Titanium Member) - even though they said it was an extremely slow night, and no welcome gift offered until I asked for it later. Would definitely look for a different hotel unless you get an extremely good price

Thank you for your recent stay with us and taking time to share your experience. We strive to provide all our guests with exceptional customer service, and I am sorry to hear that there was an issue with your stay and check-in experience. We apologize that the closure notice wasn't easier to locate at the time of booking. We want our guests to be aware of the restaurant and pool being closed, and although we do not yet have an opening date, we will remove the notice from our brand website once it reopens. Since there was not a breakfast option to provide you as your choice of amenity, you were awarded additional Bonvoy points. Although we do not have suites to upgrade our valued members to, we do our best to assign you to a higher floor and away from elevators, ice machines etc, which I am pleased to see we provided. We will share your feedback with our staff to ensure these is communicated better upon check-in. Thank you very much for your valued feedback, we hope to welcome you back when your travels bring you back to our area.

We booked the Four Points by Sheraton Detroit Metro Airport because it's was listed as a Sleep/Park/Fly - and because it's a Sheraton. Those were the only reasons, because we were to head out to visit kids & grandkids in CA for Thanksgiving and we prefer leaving our car with a Hotel rather than @ airport parking. Although we had not ever stayed at this particular venue, I have had a long and positive relationship with Sheraton over the years when I was working. However, when we arrived, and despite the hotel having confirmed both our stay for the night before we left, the date that we would be back, and the fact that it was a Stay/Park/Fly package, i was told "We're sorry, but the Hotel recently changed its policy. You won't be able to leave your car here. We will still shuttle you to the airport, but we will issue you a pre-paid pass for the airport Yellow Lot. You can take your car there tonight or tomorrow morning and use the shuttle to get back here." If i was going to do that, i wouldn't have booked two nights in a hotel. Also, when I looked at the voucher that I had been given, it only covered eight days of parking and we were scheduled to be gone for ten. If I hadn't checked it out and just placed the voucher in the window as instructed, I would have returned in ten days only to find that my car had been impounded and towed. After I explained to the very nice young lady at the desk, Siclali, that there was a problem, to her credit; she listened. I use a manual wheelchair for mobility, as I am a combination Parkinsons, Multiple Myeloma (rare, fatal and incurable form of blood & bone cancer), and 3 time Stroke patient. I explained that all of the extra screwing around on icy, blustery parking lots was both dangerous and a non0-starter for me and that I had paid for a service that I was now being forced to provide for myself, and that only covering part of my time away was flat-out unacceptable. To make our reservation even more problematic, another selling point of the hotel was not available. - food. The hotel has a bar with bar food & drink, plus a full-service restaurant on-site. We were counting on that, too and had decided to eat when we got there from 250 miles north that evening so we wouldn't need to leave until time to shuttle to the airport the next day. That day was a wintry blast with snow squalls and 30-35mph wind gusts. You guessed it - both were closed until further notice. The problem with all of this was that had this info been shared with us before we booked, - we would not have booked. I see that as false advertising by avoidance of sharing vital information. After I explained all of this, Siclali went to work. When she got back to me, we were welcome to leave the car there at the hotel for the duration, and she even helped me to find a place that was still serving. Now we are in CA, so I do not have a read yet on whether all is indeed ok. I won't know that until we get back and pick up our car (assuming we can) I gave this stay a 3 out of 5 stars (average) rating purely on the strength of the assurances that Siclali gave me that the car was ok right where it was/is. Otherwise it would have been even lower. But Siclali is an excellent ambassador for Sheraton, Marriott, Marriott-Bonvoy, or whatever the chain is calling itself this week. She has done an excellent job of listening, prioritizing and delivering on what the hotel was supposed to be offering but had reneged on. Whether I took all of the above into account before arriving at 3 stars. It could still change, depending on what we find when we fly back in in ten days. Until then, I will stay with the 3/5 stars and hope for a pleasant kind of surprise in ten days. Until then, be advised that the 4 points By Sheraton - Detroit Metro Airport may or may not actually be as-advertised. If you are considering a stay there based upon the info on its website, you have been warned.

Thank you for staying with us and taking time to let us know about your stay. We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding parking and also our restaurant closure. We certainly want our guests to be aware prior to booking, which is why we do have the restaurant closure and parking information listed on both our website and the third party site that you booked on. While we do not yet have an opening date on the restaurant as there is some construction taking place, we will be sure to remove the closure notice when it reopens. We're very sorry that since leaving your car on site was anticipated, there was the disappointment in learning we were unable to provide that. While I understand that parking is more convenient on-site, the City of Romulus has an ordinance that does not permit the hotel to allow guests to leave a vehicle on our site unless you are actually checked-in to the hotel. For the parking packages, we provide our guests a parking voucher that is presented to Airlines Parking as payment upon your return and departure of the parking lot. If you go over the parking days allotted by the voucher, the parking facility charges the additional days upon leaving. Airlines Parking does not tow your vehicle. This is a lighted, gated and patrolled parking facility on Merriman Rd that is conveniently located near all hotels, including ours. If you do experience any further issues or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of our staff, we're here to assist you and make it right!

This is the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel over 150 days every year. After my flight was cancelled by Delta, I was given several hotels to choose from. This one had a good tying so I decided to try it. The only reason I’m staying here tonight is that I have been traveling for hours and am too exhausted to deal with it. I would have given this hotel a 0 out of 5, but the lowest I can give is a 1 out of 5.
