I could detail a lot but I prefer to let the pictures speak for themselves. My lesson is to never reserve a place without reading reviews first. Unless you are really completely broke, stay away from this place.

Yes; [It's]' HOME ' when you must be away from Home. The General Manger of this location Heather Davis sprinkles so much Energetic-Kindness, the entire Staff strives to accomplish what's needed so everyone feels at Home, at this Quality Inn. This location is undergoing Renovations and still provides a Quality Inn to stay in. Spend some time there you see!

If there were a rating less than 1 that’s what I would give to this property. We had problems with the room when checking in (not cleaned; window open and curtains blowing out the window). We were told they were sold out so no other rooms were available. After some discussion, another room was found. Paid to sleep and park to leave the car, shuttle to airport and then be picked up at the airport and shuttle back. They required keys to be left. Typically not a problem but the front desk area is under construction so they are using a card table as a front desk. Key board is not secured and there are times when no one is at the desk. When returning, we called the hotel to get a shuttle pickup. No one answered the phone for 40 minutes. We finally just got on a shuttle and they graciously took us to our hotel so we could get our car. I brought it to the persons attention that n one was answering the phone. She said she had the phone with her and it never rang. I showed her the calls made and the called the number in front of her. It did not ring. Her response was that it’s not her fault the phone doesn’t work. Terrible place and experience. My recommendation would be DO NOT STAY HERE!

Hotel is being remodeled and is dirty. Staff was nice, but no breakfast. No orange juice or water in the morning as the delivery truck forgot to deliver. There are better places to stay and I will not return again.

We booked through Park-Sleep-Fly. I was travelling with my 13 and 14-year-old daughters. Upon arrival I was told that I didn’t have a reservation. Once I produced my confirmation email, the staff member was extremely rude to me repeatedly, stating that she didn’t know how I had possibly booked the room as they were now overbooked. She treated me like it was my fault. She stated that her name was Carmen. Their system is lacking. I was informed that they didn’t have a room to accommodate me. Instead, I was offered two 2 rooms, each with a double bed. Near each other in the same hallway. The rooms were not adjoining. I was very concerned at allowing my teens to sleep in a room without an adult on the main floor of a hotel in a city that was new to us. But I was left without any options. Both rooms were what I would consider dirty mine had a dead spider on the floor of the bathroom and dust in every corner, neither bed had a bedspread on it simply a fitted sheet a top sheet and a light blanket. The hotel is under construction and and it appears that construction has been going on long-term and is likely stalled indefinitely. the staff member working who is working the front desk is sort of in the middle of the hallway. It was loud throughout the night. I got no sleep at of worry for my children and persistent noise in the hotel throughout the night. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel, and would not stay there again.

This is the second time I have used this location, because they offer a parking package while away. It went from bad to worse. 1. While understandably under construction in the lobby, I felt like I was entering a war zone where there was a United Way table set up for help. It was uninviting and a dump. 2. The receptionist was unfriendly, rude and complacent. I tried being kind and polite, but got nothing in return. Rudeness was all. Any hotel with a frontline first contact person should have the spine to "let er go." 3. I was told to park my car anywhere, but we keep the key? Really? You want that liability? 4. The room was great, but the rest of the building is old and kind of dumpy. We were there to rest and leave the car, so it didn't matter. 5. Upon return to the airport, we were required to phone them but they don't answer the phone . 10 minutes to get an answer. Don't offer a service you can't provide. In final evaluation, don't stay here. Find an alternative. It was my second and last visit.

Run down with to construction entrenched on site, front desk is cobbled into lobby Room was in need of repair , huge fist size hole in bathroom door, wall paper pealing off there too, coffee pot had only decaf and parts missing, when all parts added it failed to produce anything close to coffee (tea?) Coffee was available by front entrance with tip jar next to it, the breakfast was a bag of chips or crackers ( no joke) Oh and the most notable part was THERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER IN ROOM NOT EVEN A TOILET PAPER DISPENSER FOR ONE shady people in parking lot didn’t help our overall view of this run down hotel I’ve stay in dozens and dozen of Choice hotels over the years and this was the absolute worst, will we stay here again ? Booked with Park and Fly. This hotel is the dirtiest place we ever stayed at. The curtains were ripped and dirty. The floors needed vacuuming and cleaning. The linen on the beds came with blood stains. Worst than having to spend a night here was We booked both before and after the flight. Our flight arrived 6 hours late and we couldn't book elsewhere Never again there, and not to sure about using Park and Fly again.

Walked in and walked out. Had my husband go in and ask for a refund due to the deplorable conditions. I asked when they started renovations as the place was in shambles. She said recently. Looking back at reviews (wish I had done this first) it’s actually be close to a year. We ended up paying $100 more and stayed at The Hampton Inn on Smith Rd. BEAUTIFUL hotel. Was worth the extra cost.

We were told that Romulus had a water main break in December and can understand why the hotel was under repair BUT…..this hotel was terrible and had nothing to do with that issue. The rooms were dirty and the door locks worked sometimes. The carpet had spot all over and just dirty. The elevator worked but was very clunky. Scared it would stop in between floors. The other individuals staying at hotel looked as though they were in by the hour. Trash cans in hallway overflowing, shampoo have used and just an overall disgusting hotel. Very disappointed in quality inn.
