Stayed here for a couple of nights with my husband and 2 adult children whilst visiting British Columbia. The Guest House is charming and with its décor and furnishings it feels just like stepping back in time. We stayed in the Club room whilst our children shared the Garden room, both rooms were cosy & warm. Breakfast on both mornings...

This was my second stay at the Oak Bay Guest House and it was as good as the first. Lori greeted me pleasantly when I arrived and reminded me where the amenities were located - the dining room for breakfast, the hot drinks and cookies upstairs in the lounge etc. I was given the Raphael room which is on the...

Centrally located in Oak Bay, this charming guest house has everything you need to feel warm and cozy and appreciated. Egle should be beatified for her wonderful generosity and kindness, and Lori holds the fort strong when Egle's away. Breakfasts are delicious. There is a beautiful upper common room overlooking the cherry trees, the beds are comfortable, and the Times...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Oak Bay Guest House while visiting family in Victoria. The Oak Bay neighbourhood is Victoria's prime residential area, quiet streets, big trees, manicured yards, safe & secure. It is convenient to downtown with the sights to see there. The Heritage home itself is true to it's roots in furnishings and decor but...

We stayed at the Oak Bay Guesthouse over Christmas so we could be close to family gatherings a short walk away. We stayed in the Oriental Room - roomy, with separate sunroom with small fridge. The bed was really comfortable, and just outside our door was a cozy sitting room with inviting gas fireplace. The house is authentically preserved and...

This lovely, traditional inn is located in a beautiful residential neighbourhood offering tranquility and an authentic Victoria experience. We stayed in the Regency room which was charming and comfortable. The bathrooms have traditional claw-foot baths and shower with curtains. Yes, you can find more modern amenities in other hotels, but then you would be missing the entire point of visiting...

The Oak Bay Guest house is a great place to stay. With eleven rooms, parking, a garden and two sitting rooms for use by guests ,it is the sort of place one is happy to spend some time - not just sleep and set out again as soon as possible. Breakfast is ample and home made . The rooms are...

Thank you so much for the lovely place to stay. Breakfast was amazing everyday. Who doesn't like being sent on their way with fresh muffins after breakfast? From the clawfoot tub in my room to the amazing woodwork this gorgeous period cottage is a must stay! I will definitely stay here again.

We just got back from spending 3 nights and 4 days bicycle touring around the Victoria area. We used the Oak Bay Guest House as our base. Really nice folks that run the house and our rooms were comfortable and clean. We liked being a bit out of the downtown area and especially enjoyed cycling past the many beautiful estates...

If you enjoy century old homes - this is the one for you, but it was not "our cup of tea". Many stairs to negotiate outside and inside for the elderly. Egli (sp) was a gracious hostess - providing information regarding places to eat and offering tea or a cold drink during the evening. They provided muffins to go for...
