Four of our executives recently needed to stay for a couple of nights in Taylor and chose the Home2 Suites due to its convenient location and being part of the Hilton Hotel group. The property is very modern, clean and quiet. Rooms are spacious, and well-stocked with amenities. Beds very comfortable. The lobby area is large and relaxing, breakfast food choices good, and there is a pool and gym. Overall excellent value. Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport with good local access to restaurants, retail, etc. Most of all the staff were very courteous and helpful, in particular the manager Bonnie Murray who assisted us with a very late checkout on our second day, due to last minute business requirements. We will use this hotel again on future business trips and it would be great for families and personal travel as well.…

Two weeks before my stay I paid for a room with two queens. Arrive at the hotel only to be told they gave our room away and all that was available was a 1 king bed room with a pull out couch. But hey there was a hockey team here so we didn't matter anymore. Asked for a discount only to be told that if we didn't like it they could refund us and we could leave.

The staff is cheerful and friendly. Meli, the kitchen manager, is especially good at her job. She is very attentive to the guests. She is constantly cleaning, and keeps everything well organized and stocked. We have stayed at this hotel several times, and have never been disappointed.

The shower was not cleaned. Used soap, spiders in the shower. The worst pillows I have ever used. The breakfast was missing almost everything. No milk, yogurt, eggs etc. Bruised bananas that should have been in the trash was the only fruit. I asked for a manager to call but nothing. This hotel is not up to the Hilton standards. For the high cost we paid for the night we should have not had to eat breakfast out.

The Power was out for 26 hours and there was no attempt to make things better for the guests other than coffee and donuts. When asked about options, the front desk called it an act of God, so there would be no compensation. A shuttle to a close Hilton would have been enough for a hot shower.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the past 12 months when we are in town visiting family. Always clean inside, outside, and in the rooms. Zoey at the front desk staff is very kind and always greets us with a smile. The lady who works at the breakfast bar is always very nice, however, she was not there at our last visit and we missed seeing her.

This is the perfect hotel if you have to stay for longer than a few days as it has a little kitchen in the suite, even a dishwasher with dishes. The complimentary breakfast is good, I prefer silverware over plastic though so I did leave that request. The rooms are very clean, but can use a more thorough cleaning such as inside of doors and furniture as I did notice the desk chair was dirty and the inside of the suite door had hand smudges. The hotel has a nice gym which I used and a pool. Close to amenities such as shopping and restaurants. Rita the front desk manager is a enthusiastic pleasant lady, she made me feel very welcome.

Overall I loved my stay at the home 2 suites in Taylor Michigan. The rooms were bigger than I anticipated and had just everything needed for a week. The hotel manager Rita was a big help with connecting my Apple TV to the hotel wifi. (Typically there aren’t any instructions to connecting some streaming devices such as Apple TV) It was a bonus having an indoor laundry mat.
