My fiance and I decided to go on a spontaneous weekend trip to Traverse City, without really making an itinerary or planning things out ahead of time. It wasn't tourist season, so we didn't make any reservations in advance for a hotel, and the Comfort...More

It's about a 10 minute drive to down town. The problem in the summer is parking. On street parking is limited and there are not many lots. All the hotels recommend you take a cab or shuttle to down town.
There are several beaches nearby. The most popular being the one downtown, also the state park just a couple miles away has a nice beach. Our shuttle will gladly take our guests within a five mile radius.
