After seeing so many reviews about how clean this property was, I was pretty surprised when we checked into our room. Went to put some bottles of water in the fridge and there was a Hot Pockets in there from a previous guest. As soon as I sat down on the ottoman, I spotted a piece of candy near the foot of the bed. The bathroom was the worst. There was pink mold/mildew all around the inside of the shower. The toilet had a disgusting stain in the bottom and scum around the water line. While most hotels are offering disinfectant wipes in the room, 2 packets of hand sanitizer were offered here.
Our room was located on the backside of the property which offered a nice view of trees. It was very quiet except for the partiers out back until 2:30am! Mattress was very hard. Wifi here isn’t the best either. Not steady so I finally gave up on that! Stopped at the Marketplace to get a snack one night and it was practically empty. It was even worse when we checked out.
I will say that the associates at the front desk when checking in and out were both very nice. I also understand that EVERYONE is having a hard time finding people to work, but cleanliness should be a priority.

I stayed over at the Courtyard Marriott a half-dozen times over the past 6 months, most recently on Oct 18th. The desk staff is consistently superlative and general manager Bryan Moore runs a terrific operation.
The receptionists always greet people as they enter the Lobby and work to place you in a room, considering your own preferences. The last gal knew I'd like a quiet area and I ended up at the end of the hall, overlooking my vehicle down below.
Rooms are always spotless and the housekeeping staff keeps the entire facility bright and shining! They're always willing to provide extra conditioner for my hair, or anything else I might need. The sheets are great and towels large and plentiful!
I love the place!

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is only a few miles from downtown and the lake. It is also a quick15-25 minute drive to several wineries. Hotel was nice enough to honor mobile chat request for first rooms. Rooms were updated and the beds comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Due to Covid there was no daily housekeeping, which wasn't any issues as they were able to help swap out towels or provide extra amenities. We did have a room facing the road but there wasn't any noise that kept us up. The Bistro was open with a limited menu for breakfast only. Even with a limited menu they had several options from pasties/bagels to hot egg options. The only thing to be aware of it was impossible to get an Uber/Lyft the weekend we were there. The hotel had 2 taxi companies they recommended but those were a two hour wait.

We stayed here for 2 nights because my husband won the 2 nights through work. Housekeeping never came after our first night so I called and when housekeeping came, she had a poor attitude. I told her that we only needed towels and the garbages emptied because we were back in the room at this point. Upon leaving this morning, my husband was told that we don’t get the receipt because it’s paid for by a third party. I check our credit card and we have two separate charges for $350 for incidentals. After speaking to 3 different people and 13 minutes of wasted time on the phone, the manager finally got it right. This hotel is very basic and way overpriced.

I will start with the two positives. First, the lobby is inviting and second the front desk supervisor on second shift upon check in was very nice. Now the honest facts on the hotel. The hotel is dirty, disgusting, unkept and unclean. I couldn’t believe as a lifetime platinum this hotel was so unkept. Stains on carpet very dirty, stains on rug, stains on towels, pet dander and long hairs in the both tub/shower on the wall and tub. It was so disgusting we didn’t let our kid shower before checking and leaving the hotel. Don’t be fooled by the lobby, the hotel is absolutely below a Marriott standard! This was more like a Hojo or knights inn quality. Oh… it was also $350. Yep…. Disgusting!! We literally went to lobby, had coffee and picked the hairs off our cloths from sitting on the comforter before leaving the room. I’m allergic to pet dander so it made for a miserable day.

We stayed for one night on our way to Traverse City. The room was clean but the hotel experienced an electrical outage. We were able to get our key to the room, but no lights or any electricity. The indoor pool was also locked down so no swimming. We just left for dinner and when we returned a few hours later the electrical was on. Still could not access the indoor pool which was one of the reasons we choose this Marriott location. Oh well . . . just bad luck starting out on our getaway!

Our family stayed at the Courtyard for 4 nights while visiting Traverse City and had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. One of our rooms had a balcony which we really enjoyed. The staff at this Courtyard go above and beyond to help make your stay most enjoyable. Do to the COVID-19 rules there wasn’t any breakfast available, however there were some limited items provided for free. We were disappointed that the pool also was not open, our grand daughter really wanted to swim, but we understood why. Guests arrived next door to my daughters room, who were less than desirable, and the management moved her to a new room immediately. The location of this hotel is also great. We really enjoyed our visit here and would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here several times and I have to agree with a recent review, that they were not as good about the COVID precautions. They were friendly, and wearing masks, but the hotel seemed a little less clean which is a big deal in this era. The room was quiet and very good for sleep! The coffee makers in the room suck! Get the kurig's already will you! I know you have a Starbucks in the hotel, and that is nice, but not everyone wants to go out of their room for coffee, and Starbucks is too strong for us traditional geezers! Otherwise, this is still my favorite in the TC area of over priced hotels.

Very disappointed in the lack of signage and enforcement of masks and social distancing at this property. This was our first hotel experience since Corona started and I purposely chose a Marriott expecting clear leadership and enforcement. While there were signs at the front door and the front desk staff wore a mask, there were zero signs in the cafe or inside the rooms or in the hallway telling guests masks are required or reminding of social distancing. No signage in the elevators. We had people pack in the elevator with us rather than wait for the next one. Cleaning person cleaned the lobby with mask below her chin.
I will not stay in a Marriott again until there is a vaccine. This was horrible and I felt unsafe.
I've been emailing them for a month and had no response.

We booked the Marriott Traverse City to stay for our wedding along with our guests. We had an amazing experience! The staff, management, housekeeping, and cafe staff all were incredible! The staff made sure all of our wedding guests were taken care of. The rooms were clean, large, and just what everyone needed. We cant wait to come back here and visit and stay! Would recommend for large groups or small getaways!

Hello, no we do not offer a shuttle. Taxi service is available at an estimated cost of $40.00 each way. We would love to have you as our guest but the Acme area hotels are much closer to the casino.
Best regards,
Bryan
