Cute little cabin with everything you need for a great vacation by the Grand Traverse Bay. We stayed in Cabin 13 for a week and it was quiet, clean and comfortable. They had bikes and kayaks and a private beach a few steps away. Innkeeper Sara told us of many wonderful places to go while we were visiting. We were...

Perfect location for our time in the Traverse City/Sleeping Bear area. Room was comfortable and clean. My kids loved the jungle gym, and the beach (across the street) was great. Crossing the street, not so much. But once you get passed the feeling of being in the video game FROGGER, you will enjoy your dip in the bay. Water was...

We just left this morning and already miss it. Did not get to know the owners much as we were out enjoying the area most of the day or enjoying sitting on the private beach, but we stayed there a week and it was perfect for our needs. Is the bathroom small? Yes but it serves it's purpose. The kitchen...

We stayed one night at Anchor Inn by the Bay and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms are very simple, but clean and comfortable. The grounds are well kept and the private beach across the street is small, but clean and nice. Great place to hunt petoskey stones! If you're looking for fancy or upscale, this isn't your...

We stayed at this inn for just one night. Great location by the bay, but really, really tight for 4 people. Definitely needs renovation. We first thought there was no shower in the bathroom, but it was behind the door. No place to put anything down in the bathroom, and barely enough space to turn around. Once the sofa bed...

We took a 2 day trip to Traverse City w/ 5 kids aged 2-13 (yes we're crazy-ha!) we were looking for a kid friendly cottage-type place that wasn't too pricey. The Anchor Inn served its purpose. A playspace, swings, hammock and yard games were right across from the little cottages which helped when kids got up in morn and we...

We stayed there three nights and the first cabin we stayed in, the bathroom was barely big enough to turn round in. The cabins were probably built in the 50s and in dire need of modernization and renovation. They were probably cute when built. I would describe it as rustic, a little better than camping, but the price was affordable,...

This is a great spot to bring a family and use as your base to explore the area. As other positive reviews of the motel point out it's quaint, cozy, well-kept and in a beautiful location at a GREAT price. The owners are extremely friendly and available if you need them. They went out of their way for us. Maybe...

Overall very nice place to stay. Nothing fancy but very good location with a private beach. The owners are very accommodating and keep the place clean. If you are looking for a weekend getaway this is your place! We will definitely be staying again next year.

Small cabin with Queen bed. Not a lot of room to stay in but we were only sleeping there as party was at a different place. Room had coffee maker, TV, wireless, fridge with a small table and two seats.
