Walking distance to town. Stayed 3 nights. Never been to northern Michigan. Great for day trips from here after a comfortable sleep and home cooked breakfast. If you're seeking the cozy, wine and cheese buffet afternoons this isn't it. It's more of a very comfortable, lovely and tasteful inn hat is more self service. Nice fully stocked guest kitchen (open...

This elegant home is beautifully restored and pleasure to stay in. Of particular enjoyment was the full pressure shower & faucets which beckon back to the original 1900 home. The home is an easy walk to downtown friendly Traverse City.

My husband and I spent the weekend here recently. It is a beautiful old home decorated with antiques that are a generation older than the home. While nice, it is not among the nicest of the B&Bs we have stayed in. Some of the antiques give it a not-so-clean feel. For example, a vintage rug was used as a bath...

Thank you, Barb & Hank! The Wellington Inn provided my husband and I the opportunity to relax, unwind and spend time together. The Bridal Suite was lovely, comfortable & private! We especially enjoyed the private balcony. Breakfast served at 9:00am allowed for restful morning, and a delicious feast. The Inn (on the historic register) is situated a few blocks form...

We were very impressed with the Inn. The Innkeepers have done an excellent job of restoring and furnishing every room with authentic period pieces. It was a perfect location, too. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy downtown happenings, yet less than a 5 minute walk to the downtown area!

Our family enjoyed a weeks stay during the Traverse City Film Festival at the Wellington Inn. The accommodations were great, staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was excellent allowing us to walk to most of the venues for the films. Barb makes the best breakfasts in the mornings and cookies in the afternoon! We look forward to returning...

I recently spent 6 nights at the Wellington Inn during the Traverse City Film Festival and it was a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious and clean and the bath modern and spotless. Breakfast was a buffet during the festival to accommodate those who had 9 am films and had to leave early as well as those who...

“The room ( Vortuba?) was nicely appointed and had a nice modern shower. The only complaint is the bed is super creaky- any movement of any kind. It reminded me of my grandmother's bed when I was a kid, so think it needs to be updated. ”
