The B&B is serene & laid back with great views of nature. I have returned here over the last 15 years even now when traveling from NC for some serenity! Breakfast is always great, the solitude of the property is amazing & if you get the chance stay in the tiny house (very romantic) & take a tube ride down...

Whispering Waters is a gem of a B&B. It has rooms in multiple buildings. We were in the main lodge. Rooms were comfortable & clean. The main lodge has a general- use living area with a fireplace and book area. Very comfy. An excellent full breakfast is served in the kitchen in this building. The grounds are wooded and there...

If you are looking for a quiet couples getaway then this is the spot in Traverse City! My wife and I have visited a few times. It had been a while since our last visit but the peaceful nature here has never changed. Plan on unplugging for your visit as there is not a t.v. around, which is wonderful, so...

My wife and I stopped here on our trip around Lake Michigan. We were excited to explore Traverse City, and were hesitant that this B&B was a bit far from the city itself. In the end, we could not have chosen a better place to stay. The groundskeeper (I forgot his name, it's been a little while but I promised...

We stayed in the main house that had a total of 3 rooms. Downstairs room had their own bath. Upstairs bath shared with 2 rooms. Clean, neat, peaceful, relaxing. Manager lived beneath the guest rooms. Unlike other B&Bs we stayed in, there was no mention or access to water bottles, coffee, fruit etc. it was about 10 minutes to the...

Bed was not very comfortable in the corner room upstairs....Breakfast was average. The hotel was quiet and the stream sound very nice. The great room is wonderful. It is on the Boardman river and that is nice too. All and all it was really good.

It is a half mile down a single lane to a world all its own. The grounds are open surrounded by lush woods and cradled in the sound of falling water. The main house has a shared living area that has artistic and architectural gems tastefully on view from every cozy seating spot. Traverse City is a 20 minute drive...

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for a future stay. The room was basic, but comfortable. Breakfast was great and our dietary preferences were all met. The property is remote and peaceful. Brian was a courteous and accommodating host.

From the moment we drove down the road to the property, we began to relax. Everything about it is perfect...comfy beds, great food, beautiful grounds, perfect placement of picnic table, swing, fire pit at the river. Love sleeping to the sound of the babbling brook. Books available, wonderful hot tub, and we just can't gush enough. Have stayed in many...

This is a beautiful, quiet retreat that was down a country road that made you feel you were totaling escaping the rush of the world. You could hear the sounds of the river as you got out of your car; such a relaxing sound. The main log cabin was beautifully decorated and the rooms were private with plenty of room....
