Stayed five days with then this past week, will come back, the staff could not be more helpful and committed to doing a good job,, pretty good breakfast with good selection of hot food. Stayed at a lot of Fairfield Inns this one is right up there with the best,
I travel for work a couple times a month. I stay here whenever possible. All other hotels are graded on a curve created by this property. Management obviously has very high standards and it shows in the staff and the whole property. Lobby, grounds, parking lot and public areas are ALWAYS clean and organized. Rooms are ALWAYS clean and tidy and in perfect, or near perfect shape. Probably the best beds of any hotel I’ve stayed in. All of the staff are ALWAYS friendly and professional. They always have “little extras” to show appreciation for Bonvoy Members. I’ve never seen any staff using a personal cell phone. One morning, after a few inches of snow, the maintenance staff cleaned the snow off of EVERY car in the lot. I’ve never seen that! Thank you to everyone for spoiling me and making me feel at home when not at home!…
We stayed here two nights while on our trip. The staff was very friendly, our room was clean, as was what we saw of the hotel, there is an indoor pool and hot tub, there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant maybe 200 yards from the hotel, and our food there was excellent. The pool water was too cold for us to really use, our room was one of the smallest ones I've ever stayed in, the elevator was small and worrisome to us, the blanket on our bed was really dirty and we got it exchanged at once, the breakfast was almost non-existent, and it is best to take your shower at off times as it was almost too cold to take one early or later in the day when other guests must be using up what hot water there is. There is no ice machine on the 2nd floor, so you need to go up or down a floor. Everything but the size of the room could be fixed by management.…
The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming to our group of swimmers. It was cold and snowy outside but we enjoyed use of the lobby tables to play games and hang out as a group. Breakfast was great and they even set things out for our kids who had to leave before the technical start in order to be on deck at the pool for the meet start. They did give someone else in our group keys to our room. They opened the door to find our stuff everywhere. A big oops on their part!
We stayed here one night for a wedding nearby. Check in was so easy. I actually got an email and was able to do it online so I was all set when we got there. The room was clean, nice, comfy bed, big bathroom. I didn't ask for (or need) a handicap access room but that's what they gave us. It worked out fine. Breakfast was pretty good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, juice. Also had some oatmeal with nuts, brown sugar & raisins that were available to mix in. Yummy. They also had a variety of other foods to choose from. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked very nice. Hot tub was down for maintenance. I would stay here again.
This was a typical Fairfield Inn. Same setup with the same amenities, but the real difference was the exceptional employees! We stayed for 3 nights and though there was no daily housekeeping any request we had for towels, washcloths, etc. were meant with courtesy and with efficiency, along with suggestions of places to visit and things to do. I can't express enough how friendly and helpful all the employees we encountered were! For this reason we would definitely choose this Fairfield Inn again.
From the moment we landed we were treated impeccably… the team made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble! The rooms were super clean, breakfast fresh( delicious melon, pineapple, grapes snd clementines) as well as all the usual choices. The room was spacious with sofa and microwave, beds very comfortable and toiletries great. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and the best craft brewery in traverse City( terra firma is about a mile away!)
Clean facility, very friendly staff, and wonderful breakfast! We would definitely stay again when we travel through Traverse again. I accidentally forgot my water bottle and they sent it to me no charge. Thanks Kristin and Lisa!!
We specifically requested a quiet room -- and they delivered -- on the third floor -- at the end of the hall -- it was great! Breakfast was also very good -- nice to have scrambled eggs back! Didn't care for the Sparks BBQ restaurant suggestion by staff.
Barely 1 star. Prices are comparable to downtown san Francisco or NYC hotels, $375+, but amenities, services are below mark. The hotel does not recognize titanium members, nor do they offer upgrades, nor do they even acknowledge if it is not available. All in all, disappointing experience as the titanium elite member. Thank goodness we are checking out tomorrow morning! Let's see if the hotel GM even bothers to respond... I don't want to post pics of stained bath tub because I don't want my friends to know that I stayed there
