I stayed here this past weekend for a staycation. My first and second options were sold out. The front desk clerk had basic customer service, which is typically all you can expect from any establishment these days. I requested the highest floor available because I don’t like heavy walkers above me and I received the top floor. A couple things about the room, you can tell the hotel is dated based on the room layout. The doors look like the 90s. The bathroom is tiny and the sink is outside the bathroom. It has the typical HIE decor. I noticed the mirror was pretty dirty upon first inspection. I travel with my disinfectant spray so i grabbed it and sprayed the room down. I later used the microwave and noticed some (I’m guessing) food splattered on the wall. Later i opened the fridge and it was full of past guests remains. That was the kicker. I was willing to brush off the dirty mirror and wall splatter even though i still questioned the cleanliness of the whole hotel, but having a whole fridge full of somebody else’s leftovers.. that’s a deal breaker for me. I won’t be retuning. PS. Shower is very slippery. No smart TV.…
Very good service, I had an issue with my first room, this was solved immediately upon request, changed rooms without any charge. I had an excellent stay and will be back if the opportunity presents itself.
it was my first time here and i can’t say that i’ve ever gotten such amazing service. Patricia and miranda went above and beyond with my reservation and i will definitely be back to have another few nights here.
My family and I stayed here and will be back anytime we're in town! Hands down the cleanest hotel with the kindest and most accommodating staff - truly felt like family here with the way the staff treats their guests. From booking our room, to spending time at the pool, to waking up to a hot breakfast, we enjoyed every moment. Miranda in the sales department went above and beyond - not only was she incredibly polite and kind, but she went out of her way to make sure we were properly accommodated - will be keeping in touch with her for all future bookings! Be sure to stay here if ever in the area!
Very Clean Property. Room and Public Spaces kept in very good condition. Helpful suggestions, thank you for the roll away and I would appreciate a heads up in the future for the additional charge of it. Also asking for additional work place I D is not a required IHG standard. I'm able to book the associate rate because my membership number is set up through management at the place I work. I provided a valid drivers license but was held up in front of family for more verification. Little embarrassed by this. Other wise great stay.
The hotel was clean, quiet and newly renovated! The staff was amazing! On the first morning, I spilled something on my shirt and asked the front desk if they had shout wipes in the store. The front desk manager (6/10 am) went to the laundry room and brought out the hotel spot remover for me to use! She saved the day since I was going to a work event! On day two (6/11), I arrived 10 minutes late for breakfast and Elham was cleaning up and saw my disappointment. She went back into the kitchen and prepared a plate of food for me to heat up in my room! These two "WOW" moments told me that the staff here really care about the guest and if my travels bring me back this way, I'll definitely stay here again!
I just want to give a special mention and high recommendation to Rose Callaway who made our stay amazing. I can say we will be back, because of her service and hospitality. She’s one of the best service reps we’ve ever encountered. I highly recommend.
Good hotel. Very clean. All the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with were very professional and friendly. I would especially like to praise Rami, who went above and beyond in customer service. Rami is a good person and great asset to this Holiday Inn. Overall had a good experience I wholeheartedly would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
I stayed here while traveling to Detroit for a business conference. When I checked in, I was given coupons for free drinks for that night and the next night. The manager hosted a drinks party for all hotel guests! I had never seen that before, and thought it was a nice touch. The room itself exceeded my expectations, having stayed at other Holiday Inn Express locations in the past. Both common areas and the rooms are extremely clean. The bed was comfy and big. I also sincerely appreciate that Holiday Inn is moving towards more eco friendly alternatives with the use of large shampoo and soap bottles in the shower- kudos! The breakfast buffet, which is free, is very tasty. They had eggs, sausages, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, cheese, and even some gluten free muffins (Udi's)! Juice and coffee is also fresh. The only downside is that this hotel is pretty far from most shopping/restaurants, but if you have a car this is a non-issue. The manager of the hotel was extremely generous and offered us a ride to our conference on the first morning when we couldn't find any nearby Uber drivers! Thank you so much for making us feel welcomed, what a nice gesture.…
