My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in May, 2014 and I found this historic B&B while looking at up info on the Henry Ford museum. Vicki and Gerry are WONDERFUL hosts, the gourmet breakfasts that Gerry fixed for our 3 mornings were fantastic and filling. If you went away from breakfast hungry, well as my mom would...

Bishop-Brighton was a great place to stay when we visited Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn. The package included two vouchers for two of three Ford attractions: The Village, the Museum and Ford Plant tour. Our hosts were amiable and helpful, the breakfasts delicious, and our room was charming and very roomy.

The room in the B & B was large and spacious. We enjoyed being able to sit on the wrap around porch after we had dinner. The dinner recommendations were great and we enjoyed being able to walk to dinner and along the Detroit River. So close to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village with great directions. The food...

Any place that welcomes you with a cold beer and a friendly chat on the porch can't help but win me over. Add to that the gorgeous home, tasteful decor and most importantly, comfy beds is a full 5 stars from me. The delicious home-cooked breakfast the next day was the icing on the cake. Wonderful hosts.

I've been here with my brother on March 25th. The owner was absolutely very kindly and professional and helped us a lot for planning our next day trip. The place is an old, elegant, wooden style big house and the tasty breakfast was served in an huge table. Few meters from the river and in the city centre. Highly suggested....

Came home for the holidays, but there wasn't room at the inn. Mom and dad's house was full with my brothers four newly adopted kids. No problem, we stayed at the Bishop-Brighton and the service was spectacular. Felt like family, wonderful breakfasts, loved the history of the Detroit River and the cute town of Wyandotte. The city had fun things...

This lovely historic home and wonderful hosts hardly need another positive review...but I cannot help but affirm everything good that was said! It is a super economical combination with Ford museum. We too felt right at home and even pampered. There was a carafe of PORT and chocolates in our room to sample upon arrival! My goodness, we enjoyed that!...

We were in the area for an event at the Yack arena - the bed and breakfast was an easy walk away. Also within easy walking distance were a variety of restaurants. The rooms were generous size with pleasant decor. The breakfasts had generous portions and were delicious. The owners provided ideas for spending time in the area and restaurant...

“We stayed in the Betty Jean Suite and felt spoiled by the spaciousness. The bathtub and shower are in a big room separate from the bedroom and sitting room. And a separate in-room private bath had a toilet and sink. It also has a nice fireplace (electric) that we found pleasant and relaxing.”

“All rooms are on the second floor. It is a beautiful building with a lot of history. The Bishop family built Wyandotte. Right next to the river (the old fur trading company).”
