Best Fairfield I ever stayed at..in fact, I'd put it right up there with the main Marriott hotels or other name hotels! Fairly new facility...spotlessly clean everywhere. When you can't even find a spot in the caulk around the tub and can see yourself in the shine of the tub...it's spotless! There is one thing I would ask for improvement on. BREAKFAST! Please add to your menu..2% milk and whole milk, waffles, and fruit cups. Cereal with 1 % milk is like cereal and water! Other Fairfields I have stayed at offer waffles. But don't let that stop you...the hotel is in a very nice safe industrial office type area with a strip mall across the street and near the Marriott Eagle Crest Resort and Golf Course.
I stayed at this Fairfield for the second time recently and this is a great hotel just if I-94 and next to a few restaurants. I was working at nearby Willow Run Airport and it was not too far a drive. The rooms are nicely kept up in the the current generation of Fairfield styling. They recognized me as a Marriott elite member during both stays with an upgrade to higher room type. My most recent stay was during a snow storm and the hotel did a decent job keeping the parking lot and sidewalks clear
If I could leave a 0 star rating, I would! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! My fiancee and I set up a block of rooms for our wedding back in February. Once our contract was signed I NEVER herd another word from the general manager, Nader Judeh! At the end of August when we wanted to send out our invitations, we realized we didn't have the link for our guests to book their rooms. We called and emiled for probably 3 weeks with no response from from him! FINALLY I got a response with our link. The whole time Nader just kept saying how short staffed they were. The cut off date for my guests to book their hotel rooms was September 22. I tried to call Nader for 2 STRAIGHT WEEKS to get our cut off date extended, because, some of my guests had just gotten their invitations. AGAIN, NO RESPONSE FROM NADER! On September 20, someone in my wedding party tried to book their room and they were told there were no rooms available! I went to the hotel the next day September 21st, to talk to Nader about why there were no rooms available for my guests. I was told "None of them have been booked, so, I released them, because your cut off date was yesterday. " Now there's NOTHING I CAN DO BECAUSE THE HOTEL IS COMPLETELY FULL FOR THE WEEKEND OF MY WEDDING!!! So, now it's a month before my wedding and I'm left scrambling to try to find somewhere to accommodate me!! We booked with them back in February because, we knew that it was a U of M home game and all the hotels in Ann Arbor sell out, require a 2 night stay and double or triple their rates!!! NADER JUDEH IS A TERRIBLE GENERAL MANAGER AND DOES NOT HONOR A SIGNED CONTRACT!!!! I would NEVER stay here, even if you paid me !!!!! As long as NADER JUDEH is the general manager here we will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FAIRFIELD INN AGAIN!!!!! I have also called my venue and told them how terribly I was treated and they will no longer be recommending them! Moral of the story, DONT PISS OFF A BRIDE!!!!…
We are Marriott members and recently booked (and pre-paid for) a room at this hotel for a visit to University of Michigan. There were 3 of us so we booked a larger room that included a pull out sofa bed. We arrived at the hotel after a night football game late but didn't think we needed to worry since we are Marriott members and had pre-paid for the room. But SURPRIZE.. the only room they had left was one with a single queen bed for 3 of us! (seems they had given our room to someone else). The person working at the desk said there were no other rooms and he didn't have a cot or anything to help us out. He gave my husband an extra blanket so that someone could sleep on the floor. Definitely NOT a Marriott experience
My company is based out of Burton, Michigan but we do a lot of business in Ypsilanti, MI. Everytime we are in town, we stay at the Fairfield Inn. The General Manager, Nader Juder and his staff always welcome us with open arms. We stay at this location so much he always find away to reserve our same assigned rooms. There is always fresh coffee and the hotel is always clean and presentable. 5 stars to this hotel!
Needed to book six rooms for our team, and Nader Judeh was extremely helpful and flexible. What was the extra mile is he was there to introduce himself and make sure the experience was perfect, by offering tips for other services in the future and also knowing what other teams were there to help with dinner areas. Check in was seamless and easy and Mark at the front desk was very helpful. In addition, I made a mishap and cancelled a room by oversight and Mark did everything he could to assist me during a "sold out" hotel. He went above and beyond to find me another room and get it cleaned quickly. Along with being very kind during my stressful moment. When others step up to provide great customer service it is memorable. The rooms were clean, and very nice as I was able to compare five rooms. Great Hotel!!…
Very nice hotel! Complimentary breakfast and shuttle. And very clean. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the manager (I think his name is Nader) who was rude and disrespectful to many people who were attending the event I was. Not what I expect from someone in any field, much less the hospitality field. I hope they offer him some more training as people were remarking they would prefer to stay at a new hotel being built than at this place simply because of him. Everyone else was so helpful and lovely. I feel bad that they have to work with him.
Very nice and welcoming hotel. We found the rooms, hallways, reception and breakfast areas to be clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious, beds and blankets are comfortable. The room has a Keurig, a microwave, and small refrigerator. Bathroom is large, the walk in shower was great, the towels are soft. Breakfast is fully stocked and replenished immediately. The servers were terrific and kept the coffee thermoses filled! Couldn't ask for more from a hotel! We'll be back
I stayed for 3 nights at this Fairfield Inn and I was in town for some medical treatment. My hospital admission day was unknown at the time of my stay so I spoke to the manager Nader in advance and he was very accommodating and considerate due to my circumstances. When the time came for me to check out and head to the hospital, he waved the additional day since I was checking out late in the day, which saved me the additional Expense that I would have had to pay if I had stayed anywhere else. The Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and spacious. This location was in walking distance of a local restaurant and gas station come up and a strip mall with multiple restaurants so it was very convenient since I did not have a vehicle. I would consider staying here any time I need to visit the area again and thanks again to Nader for being so considerate.…
I was traveling for business, and I was meeting my customer to sign documents. I was unable to print the documents, but Nader was able to print them for me using the hotel printer. He also helped me scan them, so I was able to fund the deal for my customer that day. He was so helpful, and his staff is great too. I love staying at his hotel, because they make it seem like home.
