We stayed for 2 nights on a weekend getaway to the North Shore. This Lodge was a great location to see the sights, go hiking & make a day trip to Grand Marais. The rooms were cozy & clean and the views were beautiful! The menu selection was pretty limited but what they did offer was very good. It was...

My significant other and I stayed here for a night while visiting Duluth and it was a perfect. Since it wasnt tourist season the lodge was nice and quiet. The room had an odd layout, with the jacuzzi tub 5 feet from the bed but other than that it was nice. We spent most of our evening in the lobby...

We loved our stay. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good food at the restaurant located within the hotel - but a little pricey. Free dvd rental (big screens and dvd player in each room), large open lodge lounge with games and grand piano. Close to Palisade Head. I'd recommend Northern Lights Roadhouse in Beaver Bay for casual lunch. Also, it's...

Excellent lodging, cozy fireplace, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and a Scandinavian breakfast like no other's! Great get-away destination all year-round. We've frequently stayed here and will return again. Friends and family love Cove Point Lodge. Perfect in all seasons - lots to see in the area.

Two hockey families shared a cottage for two nights. Great accommodations, plenty of room to stretch out, etc. We spent some time outdoors in between hockey games hiking up the frozen waterfall and hiking out to cove point. We enjoyed a few movies we picked up from the lodge. It was so much nicer to stay in a cottage and...

The maintenance person Chuck was great, front desk my last night was also very responsive, the manager did not follow through on a request I made at 745 AM so at 815 PM the gentleman at the front desk did what he could to help me, which was not enough. The bed was WAY TOO HARD for me and they...

The front desk staff was the best! Our check in started with a warm welcome and excellent suggestions. The cottage was clean and in excellent repair. We felt like we were staying at a friends vacation home rather than a hotel; books, DVDs and games were all supplied as well as an adequately supplied kitchen. The Windsong cottages have 2...

I know that we will stay at Cove Point Lodge whenever we visit the North Shore. The moment we walked in we were greeted by Liz and Elizabeth. The place had a cozy feel and a welcoming atmosphere. A huge rock fireplace was in the common area. Also, there was a pool and a hot tub. We had a room...

Friendly staff, clean, great view of the lake. Food was good, but not great. Our bed was a bit old, maybe time to be replaced. Liked the free smores and campfire, and the little shack by the lake where we played games. Overall, we had a nice stay, and I would recommend.
