Rooms were nice sized, but could use a little updating. The bunk room had it's own heating unit which was loud and disrupted the boys sleep when it cycled on and off. Fridge and microwave came in handy for snacks and meals. Although our refrigerator door shelf was broken limiting storage space. I kind of felt like we were paying...

We had a nice relaxing stay, but couldn't believe the decor! Old dark paneling on all walls, couldn't even see the lake out of our room. Friendly staff, but just couldn't get over how old our cabin was. It felt like we were roughing it, yet paying for a 5 star resort.

We stayed here on an early January weekend while in town for a hockey tournament. Group coordinator Jackie greeted us upon arrival, catered to our needs by placing us in nearby rooms, provided a hospitality room we could gather in and a list of all rooms/families staying with our group (for the team manager). The rooms were nice sized and...

My girlfriend and I wanted a weekend away from everything so we decided to stay in brainerd MN, a lovely town in Northern MN. We decided to stay at Craguns Resort because it seemed to have a lot of accomodations and we knew a few people who had stayed there before. we arrived and the facility was older and dated...

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Our front desk manager contacted our housekeeping and maintenance managers immediately after meeting with you. They did a thorough investigation of that area of the resort and determined it was an isolated incident in the room you were staying in. The ducting for the vents was not involved, just the vent...

We stayed here for a hockey tournament in Brainerd. Cragun's was a great place to stay for hockey! They provided us with a free team hospitality room where all players and parents gathered for pot luck meals and late night fun for the adults. Our room had a gas fireplace, living area, 2 double beds, microwave and mini fridge. We...

Our first stay here and we will definently be back again for Christmas. The rooms were huge, Xmas dinner in a very festive dining room was amazing. We got a map a brochure of all the activities where and when they were. You can do as little or as much you want. This place is a what a rustic Midwestern...

Besides agreeing with other reviews about the facilities being extremely outdated, we could have looked past that had the rest of our stay been acceptable. Nobody that works there seems to "want" to work there, either that or they need to take a customer service 101 course. For example, after we finally got the kids settled, got our niece to...

Thank you for taking the time to write and express your concerns about your recent stay at Cragun’s. Your comments will be shared with staff members to improve our customer’s experiences. The Bear Trap Lounge located in the lobby of the resort is typically a very busy and fun place. The Manager on Duty is instructed to close the bar...

We've stayed in two different types of rooms at Cragun's. Both were spacious and well-appointed, but quite a bit outdated. Our favorite room type is the Shoreline Suite. We are a family of 4 -- Mom, Dad and two daughters ages 14 & 11. The Shoreline Suite is the perfect set-up for us. When you first walk into the room,...

Although I can't say anything remotely bad about the staff, they were extremely nice, save yourself the one night and just go to Grand view lodge. It is very outdated and not worth it. We tried turning the jets to the jacuzzi on and what looked and smelt like black sewage sprayed out. It may have been a nice place...

Cragun's is a beautiful property. Every room faces the water (although the rooms look 20 years outdated, and are), and it is nearby some great golf courses. If you don't golf, there isn't a ton to do if you aren't a kid. Bonfires are the highlight which is fun, but not much for bars or food later on at this...
