My wife recently bought a voucher for a Spa Day via Groupon and I have called 7 times now to try and book in. The first time I rang the number quoted by Groupon and was told I had come through to events only and was given another number. I have tried this 5 times and as yet have been...

Lovely place for relax. Clean and comfortable rooms - would worth booking room with view and in the old part of hotel. Pre booking for evening meal necessary as offered very late time to dine....but lovely waitresses squeeze us in. Swimming in Chapel is nice experience but again pre booking for spa treatments necessary. Enjoyed stay as a treat for...

My partner and I have just had a great time at this wonderful hotel. All the staff were excellent and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. This started from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a glass of Buck's Fizz each. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My other half booked this after we had stayed at a wonderful place. Upon arrival we couldn't check in so we got some food and a drink. We paid 11 quid for twelve chips and some buttered bread. We then went to the spa and it was so rammed packed we couldn't sit down or use the facilities. The room...

Went for a stay over, arrived at 4 checked in, lovely room clean and tidy. Decided to use the leisure facilities , young man on reception desk had absolutely no customer service skills. Spa area had seen better days, pool not very warm, rest looked like it needed a clean. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and service was attentive,...

I stayed here on Feb 18th with my Wife; our stay included a dinner / b&b package (which was a gift from our friends). This was our first time at this property and the long drive to the hotel made us optimistic; we couldn't deny the surroundings were truly stunning. We parked up and made our way to reception. Our...

This hotel was booked as an overnight stay and spa break. There were lots of "little" issues that made the whole stay a bit of a disappointment. We had to wait around 10 minutes to be served at reception to check in. They were busy and 1 receptionist was missing from the desk. Her colleague had no idea when she...

Stayed with friends for 1 night in Feb. Basic room rate but would not return. Rooms at back of hotel. OK. Bed comfy. Armchair threadbare: had seen better days. Biggest room problem was no hot water! Informed receptionist - polite but didn't care. Others were complaining of similar issues. Across hotel, staff friendly. Spa run down. Would not return. Dirty...

My husband and I have just spent 2 nights at this delightful and very well positioned hotel. We could find, almost, no faults as the staff, room and food were all excellent. The only problem we found was that when we dined in the dining room it was extremely noisy and felt as if we were back in a school...
