The amenities such as complimentary boat (no motor) and "water toys" (paddle boats, etc.) were nice, as was the Hobie sailboat for only $5 a day. But the bed was very uncomfortable (needs a pillowtop, very hard) and the cabin was old (musty smelling). Being that breakfast is not included (it is a "housekeeping cabin"), we feel the price per...

We stayed for a week-long stay and with a large family - we had multiple cabins. Our cabin was one of the older, more outdated cabins. Very squeaky; nothing fancy. Overall, relatively clean and it's not a fancy hotel - it's a lake cabin. The views are beautiful of Long Lake. The water is a bit murky, but lots to...

My family just spent a week at Lakecrest Resort. We would definitely return to this resort for a vacation. We stayed in one of the newer cabins that had air conditioning. The cabin itself was fabulous and the air conditioning was much needed because it was a hot, humid week. The newer cabins lack a lake view but the space...

The resort is well kept and clean. It is an excellent place to spend quality family time. We spent time on the lake fishing, tubing and enjoying the scenery. We also used their sport courts, horse shoes, kayaks, paddle board, water toys, board games, ping pong and foosball. The owners are professional and friendly. We highly recommend this resort.

I love being at Lakecrest Resort! It is clean, well maintained, and very relaxing. There are so many things to do at Lakecrest, or you can choose to just relax by beautiful Long Lake. The owners, Dan and Sandy, do a fantastic job running the resort. Dan and Sandy and the whole staff are welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I also...

Our family's stay at Lakecrest was delightful. We stayed in two of the lakefront vacation cottages and loved the view, access to the lake, docks and beach. The vacation cottages are not air conditioned but we were very comfortable at night due to the open windows, fans and shade trees. Our family of five (adults and young adults) took advantage...

7-7-2014 We stayed in one of the older cabins. The cabin smelled of mold and had spiders in the sink...The water smelled and tasted so bad we used water bottles to brush our teeth. We ended up leaving after only 2 nights due to the bad water. We left and found a hotel to stay in that had non-smelling water...

We are sincerely sorry for your experience at Lakecrest Resort. We are a family run resort with very high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Clearly in this case we failed to meet your expectations. We do have well water here at the resort that does at times have a slight smell of sulfur which is different than city water....

My family has been staying Lakecrest for many years and hope to for many more. We love the older cabins for there charm and view of lake! The new/modern cabins are beautiful, roomy and yes airconditioned. The lake is great for boating and swimming and the kids love making friends at the sand volleyball court in the evening-lots to do-lots...

After finding this place on the internet to be together as a family for the first time in six years, we were thrilled to find Lakecrest the perfect place for a fun and relaxing week. There were boats, floats, and games enough to keep us busy. Our cabin was extremely clean and just right for the four of us. Detroit...

We just got back from a stay here with a very large group. The cabins were very clean and new, except for one of our party who had to stay in a very old place that smelled of mold and was pretty dated. You need to bring your own towels and soap and I would suggest extra pillows and bedding,...
