We received free tickets to the zoo across the street and spent a good part of their day there. This motel is a great place, great people and we were greeted by a sweet dog. Breakfast is included with eggs and bacon. We missed out on evening fire @ fire pit since it was raining.

The Munger Inn is a nice small inn in West Duluth with many things to do in the area. They have free bikes to use on the multiple trails, and canoes to use in the nearby St. Louis River. Also, the Lake Superior Zoo is a block away and you are very close to Spirit Mountain. The rooms are reasonably...

Front desk was extremely helpful and made our visit that much better and smoother! They answered questions and gave oppinions on which places in the area were great to visit. The room was clean with cute nature decoration.

We stayed in the lobby level suite and loved the size of our "living room...perfect for our family of 4 (all adults) to enjoy a quick New Year's ski trip. We had a fireplace, free wifi, kitchenette, and Christmas tree to boot! Don't be put off by the 1950s style motel look...this place has all of the amenities with character...

Huge living room with two couches, lots of light & a big comfy chair for reading. We didn't have time to take advantage of the free zoo passes or the bicycles; maybe next time. Staff was friendly & very accommodating; room was clean, bright and QUIET! Would definitely stay there again the next time we go to Duluth!

Stayed one night in this inn and was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast! There were scrambled eggs and bacon and even a waffle maker. The room was well-appointed and very quiet, and the people at the front desk were very helpful. I wish we had had more time to make use of the complimentary zoo passes and bikes that the...

With 300,000 of our close personal friends in the area for the Tall Ships event hotels were booked solid and we had a room booked a year in advance for the weekend. When we called to see if we could check in early we were told that actually it would not be ready until about 4pm due to work being...

After failing to find a place at or near Canal Park, this was a very good compromise. The room was small and the carpet was overly spotted but the price was right and the freebies were generous. The shower was the smallest I've ever used but it worked so don't complain. The passes to gain admission to the Zoo across...

The rooms were small but very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The person working the front desk was friendly and helpful. Wish we would have had time to ride the trail with the bikes they had available for no charge!
