Cozy, no frills. Clean. Great rates. Perfect. Thank you. Last visit was July 2016... . Wish I could come back for more of the same but it's for sale. Once in the hands of new ownership, I suspect everything will change.

We wanted a bed and shower before and after going to the BWCAW. We stayed here, it was great! A very comfy, simple, unique stay in little cabins on their property in Ely. This place fit all of our needs. The rooms were clean and the owners were absolutely kind. Not expensive at all. We are very happy we stayed...

A no frills, but comfortable experience. I have stayed in Ely quite a few weekends over the past year, and I've tried a multitude of hotels/motels/VRBOs. I must say, of the hotel/motels I've stayed at in Ely, this is by far the best value for money. If you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head down - comfortably...

I was traveling through Ely with two friends. We didn't have reservation and saw this place had the vacancy sign out so we checked in and got three rooms. All the room were clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. The owners of the place were very kind. You can tell they took pride in their place. There are...

This is probably my fourth or fifth time staying at the Lakeland and they still have the same friendly service, clean rooms and comfortable beds all at extremely reasonable prices that they've offered for the past 10 years that I've been coming here. To be sure, it's a no frills experience, although they do have cable and free Wi-Fi. I...

This is a small motel with small, but adequate, clean rooms. The owners are a wonderful, friendly, helpful couple. The rooms are cabin style so it's like having your own place with your vehicle parked right outside the door. Great location! The DQ s right next door, and Dollar Store, Shopko, Subway just across the street. Finally there is a...

This is an excellent place to stay for a night if you plan on strictly using it for sleep. It's clean, bed is comfortable, has a shower, and has a great Minnesota small town feel. The owners are very nice and the price is unbeatable. My friends and I stay here the night before our yearly Boundary Waters trip. There...

If your looking for authentic north woods lodging this is it! Super clean and reasonable bring your own hair dryer and coffee pot, but the cable T.V. And cozy room is worth it! Came in the cold snap and even at -35 outside we were cozy! Loved it.

I have stayed at this motel a few times, and it's usually the first place I check when I'm staying in town. The motel is actually several small cabins located on the property. It is located on main street near highway 1. This visit was on 12-27-11, we were in town doing a little ice fishing. We rented the 2...

The LakeLand Motel is a fantasic place to stay! The Cabin we stayed at was the single cabin with a full bed, table, chairs, bath, tv, AC, and closet. The cabin was very nice and cozy! It is smaller than a normal motel room but that was no bad deal, it was a great place. We stayed at this cabin...
