Stayed here with Teenage kids for a weekend of fishing and ATV riding. Crooked lake is great fishing, and several trout lakes / streams are within 15 minutes of the resort. The cabins at Crooked Lake Resort have electricity and with it a couple of lights and a fridge but no plumbing. There is a central shower house and drinking water spigot available. Our fishing group has been making two trips per year to Crooked Lake for the past twenty years. We have NEVER had a bad experience, and have always found the Schumacher's to be friendly and helpful, and the food at the Trestle to be excellent. If you want fancy, go to an all inclusive.
