very accommodating to hunters and fishermen. Beats the hell out of sleeping in the rain. It was a little tight in the room with four guys, but you couldn't argue with the price. even if they did give one of our reserved rooms to some other hunters. It made for an experience I will never forget. (loud snoring, farting, and...

My friends and I reserved two rooms for the Tettegouche State Park deer hunting season several weeks in advance. Two days before the trip we decide to call and verify just to be on the safe side. The woman on the line claimed that we would only have one room for six people given the fact that her husband gave...

Up for a weekend of ice fishing, we found the Maple Grove Motel to be very accommodating. It is nothing fancy, but it is clean and comes with the amenities that you need, not the ones you do not need. The room and 2 double beds, laid out in a way to give both couples some privacy, a small microwave...

Four of us stayed here the night before entering the Boundary Waters. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. The rate for four people was $65 plus tax. The folks who run the place are friendly. This is a small place, six rooms, I think. There is no wifi. The only thing that is...

$69 a night including tax. Called and made the reservation in under 3 minutes. The room was clean, had a microwave and little refrig, tv and 2 double beds. The place isn't large and you can meet yourself coming out of the bathroom, but, compared to the Holiday Inn in Duluth this place is priceless. PLUS, the owner CARES about...

My wife and I stayed one night here. The motel sits a few hundred feet off MN 1, so it's quiet and private. Make no mistake - it's not fancy, it's kinda rustic, but it has character aplenty. As the name implies, it's a motel and a bait shop, but also a game check-in station. Not your norm as motels...
