Boat launch on site, not a difficult launch. Nice dock/ slip system, affordable (10$/ day). Cabin worked just fine for us, (Family of 4) also affordable. Fishing, large variety of fish. Tried mainly for walleyes caught a few. Kids excited as they caught fish they've never caught before! Bait @ resort really handy (3$/ worms which we went through a...

This place is in a great fishing location. The accommodations need work. Our cabin was close to the boat docks which was a bonus but the cabin was very dated and not very clean. Bed is right in front of sliding glass doors with 1/2 of a ripped up curtain covering 1/2 the window. We had to use blankets over...

Wow...We stayed across the highway from the railroad tracks...but yes...constant noise. As you can see by a few pics that I took this place is not clean or updated! Pictures of kids hanging on the walls...creepy... the closets are full of junk, bed rails outside, tons of garbage, old mismatched furniture that looked to be free along the road, little...

If you like trains and can sleep as they go thru the camp 24 hours a day blowing their whistles, not that far from the cabin and shaking the cabin, as little as 20 minutes apart and old cabins (remodeled and 100 years old), some of the dirt in them is at least that too, if you're large you can't...

We were looking for somewhere to stay with a river view, access to a bonfire pit, and reasonable prices. This camp had all three of those things. It is definitely an older place. The drapes, microwave, and toaster in our unit were probably made in the 70's. There is a train track that runs right through the middle of the...

Barbara and Dick are a couple of the nicest hosts I've met yet. The place is run on the honors system - guests are free to help themselves to bait, soda, snacks, etc. if the hosts aren't around, and pay later. I forgot my checkbook at home, and Barb told me to just mail it when I got home. Good...

A friend and I stayed here last June for a fishing trip and it was fantastic. It fit all of our needs. We didn't need a lot of amenities since we spent the majority of each day out fishing on Lake Pepin. The fishing there was great by the way. The cabin we had was plenty large for just the...

My family spent one weekend there, yep, can not stand with those noisy trains, till to now, one of my ears still buzzy and can not hear well... But those people in camp Lacupolis are so nice, we left our coats there, they helped us mail to my living place, thanks a lot to Dick and Barbara again. And the...

Train tracks and US Hwy run right thru the middle of camp, dangerous for little ones, very noisy for all. Well water gave all of us diarrhea.

This is not a hotel it has cabins and trailers right on the railroad tracks, bring your ear plugs. Very nice people, nice view and place to dock if you dont mind the train rumbling by several times a day and night
