First let me say my husband and I holiday in Embudu Village every year so we are considered repeated guests. We have been to many other resorts in the Maldives but none can be compared to Embudu. This resort is small and takes you to walk round it in less than 20 mins. Is also not a 5 star resort...

Stayed here in January 17 only just got around to doing the review now. Can only agree with all the previous reviews. The beds are very noisy and not the most comfortable. A lot of choice on the food but surprised that there was no live pasta station. Chicken Bacon in the morning which was a bit of a disappointment....

Fine hotel on a lovely island. Rather close to Male: only 45 minutes by boat. The food was good with enough variety. Sometimes not hot enough. Staff is friendly, as in all Maldives island that we visited. It is a shame that we sometimes smelled diesel oil from the energy plant on the island. The beds were too hard for...

Embudu is a lovely little island, about 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport and Male. The staff are very friendly and will do everything they can to make you stay as enjoyable as possible. There is one restaurant and one bar so if you are looking for multiple places to eat, swimming pools, air conditioned gyms and lots of...

Best value for a resort since Maldives is very expensive. Easy access from Male airport, only 20 min by boat. Buffet meals is abundance and good, best house reef. staff are attentive and helpful, superior room comes with safe deposit box (free), I was in room# 93, manage to do snorkel without life vest by the main jetty. always see...

We had planned a four week, four island trip to The Maldives and the main reason for booking Embudu was because our Daughter, Son-in-Law and family would be there and we wanted to surprise them! Reservations Manager, Rasheed, arranged for us to stay in a room next door to them and kept our secret for months. Embudu is a more...

I was put off booking as it seems a lot cheaper than other resorts, travel bag explained it's because you don't have a pool and a number of restaurants, so if you want a quiet island with great food, drink, accommodation.. And they were right, exceed all expectations, hardly saw anyone except meal times, great beaches, wildlife, snorkelling, would highly...

As a first time guest to a Maldivian resort I was excited by the location and the snorkeling opportunities. Embudu is a natural paradise and the amenities are far beyond a budget resort. Excellent food, friendly staff, well kept and very decent accommodation, superb beaches, lot of snorkeling routes and access channels. I will definitely enjoy coming back.

I have been to Embudu six times and will certainly go again. The island is naturally beautiful and nature’s gift to mankind is well taken by the village management. Stunning sandy coves as well as long beaches with the most interesting coral reef stretching all the way round the village is something that one should experience. The food was amazing!...

Probably my fifth or sixth visit here and I felt that I had to write a review given that the place seems to be getting better and better every time. I have been to a lot of resorts in the Maldives and when you look at the high price, sometimes you question value for money. Embudu Village is certainly the...
