This was the 2nd trip in 10 years to Birdwing Spa what an absolute disappointment!! They have lost there long time Chef and the owner is cooking. Burnt food and the meals were below the lowest of expectations. Buy the cook book it is the only way you will get a good meal. The Main house was not full but...

First the good stuff, and there is plenty. The location is gorgeous; 300+ acres of pristine woodland, meadows, and fields. Lots of water, lots of wildlife. It is quiet and beautiful. Absolutely the place to go to get away from it all...and you really are away. This is a rural location. I had a room in the main house, the...

I just came back from Birdwing and want to tell everyone about a "Diamond in the Rough." I, too, was a bit afraid by the negative remarks below but... I was there from June 17-22 (had to leave early do to family issues) and was the ONLY one there. My meals were meant for me. Richard made sure they all...

My friend and I are from Winnipeg, Canada and we wanted to go on a relaxing, healthy vacation, so we chose Birdwing Spa. What a fantastic choice we made. The accomodations and staff were wonderful the whole 5 days we were there, we were treated like royalty. All of our expectations were met. The food was great, all healthy, high...

Had just the perfect overnight stay at the birdwing spa. The staff could not of been nicer, the food was very good (and healthy) also the spa services were perfection. I have had spa services at some pretty high end places and I can honestly say the services at the birdwing were amazing.

I went to Birdwing in order to get away and recharge my energy. The location is beautiful. I was met by a lovely white-tail deer and her twin speckled fawns and shown to a room in the barn that was very comfortable. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations and lots of staff to serve you this is not the...

I recently spent a month at Birdwing Spa in the Journey to Wellness program. I was depressed, overweight and sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. With the help of the team at Birdwing I came home a healthy woman. I enjoyed a variety of exercise programs and they are willing to change the planned class to fit with...

I was expecting more of a pampered spa experience and this was far from it. Our room in the barn was spacious, but everything felt like it needed to be cleaned. The main issue I had with the whole weekend was the food. I love healthy food, am not a picky eater, and was excited about the healthy menu they...

We decided to have a short getaway from the kids and relax with spa treatments and based our decision to go to Birdwing largely based on the reviews here. We were not expecting posh surroundings but good treatment, friendly staff and excellent spa treatments. Unfortunately, in my opinion the reviews here are very inaccurate. The accommodations are very plain, which...

I went to Birdwing Spa for a week from May 22-May 29th as a gift to myself to recharge and re-energize after a grueling 3 years of attending college for an advanced degree while working 50+ hours per week in my job as a nurse manager. Birdwing Spa was just what the doctor (or in my case, the nurse) ordered!!...
