We stayed in a standard room. Rooms were adequate (not spacious by any means), however you could hear conversation, television, running water and cell phones ringing in the rooms on either side of us. We got a special rate of $30 (rack rate $100), and I don't think the room was worth even that. That being said, the beds were...

Shooting Star Casino has its moments. Although the casino itself is decent, Customer Service is absolutely horrific. I can honestly say from the minute you walk in the door it simply continues to get worse. The front desk reception at the hotel entrance will make you feel more unwelcome than welcome with the eye rolls and legs propped up on...

very clean and very quiet hotel considering it is a casino complex, the room was very large, well kept and the staff were very helpful and polite. We would definitely stop here again if we are passing through the area.

I have eaten at the 2 one 8 Restaurant in the Shooting Star Casino a few times now. The first time the food was excellent and the service was great. The last time was not quite as good. My Wife and I walked in without a reservation and asked if we could get a table, we were told after some...

To watch a concert, we stayed one night at the hotel. Room was clean, beds adequate, shower ok if you are 5 feet tall. If you squat down you can get clean. You stay in these rooms because you are here to see a concert or to gamble; and for this purpose they are fine. For $109 per night they...

Tough one to decide on. The rooms spacious, clean, well kept up, and quiet. The beds are comfortable, the room is comfortable. Convience and layout of the hotel itself, A bit to be desired. The people at the front desk are borderline on awful. Its great to have a job,but act like you care. slots are plenty for the crowd. The buffet, not...

We have received terrible service from the hotel every time we stayed, but much more often, when we tried to make reservations and were turned away. We've been told that all of the rooms are reserved for an event or wedding, but only for Saturday, almost every weekend we've ever tried, whether we were well in advance or short notice....

I had the pleasure of seeing Montgomery Gentry in concert and then spend the night. I had the best time. Employees from all areas were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the food was awesome. I had a great time playing slots too. Can't wait to stay again
