Hotel has really great, lived the bathroom shower. Rooms clean. Lobby really nice. Front desk informative. Only draw back is parking and finding room. Parked on 4th floor which is the floor was on. But had to go down 1 flight of stairs through several doors to find elevator to go to 4th in hotel. Confusing!

Spent one night for business. No complaints: Location: Right downtown with a parking garage attached. Many restaurants around the corner with plenty of nightlife if your are into that scene. A block away is access to the riverfront trail for walking or running. I took a nice 8 mile run to the east/north and think it continues for many more...

If you are staying in Mankato, this hotel is located in the middle of things and parking is connected thru a sky bridge, which is very convenient. Although we didn't use the restaurant, which is privately owned, it looked like a great option.

This hotel is located across the street from a pretty park and a block away from the city's walking art tour. The hotel featured a privately owned restaurant called Olives which was classy yet comfy. Its menu was upscale and included a quail entrée which was fork tender.

My wife and I were recently in Mankato for a wedding. The couple had a block of rooms reserved for their guests. We stayed on the 4th floor, (401) and found the room to be very clean and nicely appointed with a king size bed and a large bathroom. The bathroom had a large "Garden" tub with whirlpool (we did...

Felt very pampered at this HGI. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was tasty and had sufficient variety. My only complaint, for such a new hotel, is that there's no night light in the bathroom. Thought that was SOP these days.

I pity the staff that has to work in this depressing hotel. It really should be torn down and rebuilt from scratch. The mattresses were old and extremely uncomfortable. The room was depressing and outdated. The carpet in the room was old...and wet. This was not a good experience. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Stayed at this hotel when we went to Vikings training camp. It was a very nice hotel. Location was ok. Rooms were clean. The beds though are not the best. They have what they call "garden sleep" beds. These are really not anything. You pick your mattress setting on the side of the bed whether it be firm or medium...

I had to extend business travel for a couple of days and my current hotel could not accommodate me. I got lucky in finding a room here and was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel location is pretty ideal being as close to the hub of the city for restaurants and bars. Most were within walking distance and rarely had to...
