Very good location in dtwn Minneapolis. Right by Guthrie Theater, and the burgeoning river walk district down there. Rooms were typical Aloft, comfortable, clean. No on-site parking or valet, and we were instructed to park in the (pay) ramp around the corner. This worked out fine, but don't go expecting to valet your car.

Your in the heart of a great neighborhood that you can feel safe and there is a lot to learn about history. Hotel is clean, upbeat, and just different enough to make it more fun. I spent a few days with our kids there and they all had fun. Close walking distance to many attractions, nice park across the street....

If you are planning on attending a Guthrie performance and need a place to stay overnight, you cannot do better than the Aloft. Exit the rear entrance of the Aloft and you are across the street from the entrance to the Guthrie. Not having to fight traffic after the performance, but instead being able to walk back to the hotel,...

I haven't been to any boutique hotels and I'm happy to say that my first one did not disappoint. It is apparent from the moment you come in that Aloft is a very contemporary, hipster hotel with its colorful chairs and decor. The room itself was well designed. We got the two comfy queen beds that were arranged against a...

By far, the best thing about this hotel is the free 'shuttle,' which is really more like a free taxi. The location is a little out of the way so we weren't sure how much we would see of the downtown area, but as long as we signed up in advance, we were able to catch the shuttle wherever we wanted...

This was my first Aloft Hotel, so I was intrigued by the trendy hipster minimalist approach throughout. The stuff that counts: - the room was clean, well-outfitted with the stuff you need, and very comfortable - the staff was very pleasant, both times I interacted with them - the hotel itself was very well maintained, and seemed clean throughout The...

This is my first time staying at an Aloft Hotel. The rooms are functional and business friendly. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and difficult to leave in the morning! :) Definitely a good choice.

Unless you're 25, covered in tattoos and crave earsplitting dance music at all hours - and in all quarters - you won't like this place. The staff is "distant" at best (dismissive/rude at worst). The hotel looks/feels like a cheap old motel that's been given a colorful but superficial facelift. In my room, there was a cool mirror door to...

The Aloft concept of minimalistic with great service is wonderfully demonstrated here at the Minneapolis hotel. The rooms are comfortable with everything that you need. The lobby has a great lively vibe and it wouldn't feel too weird to hang out there on your own and during my stay they had a band playing in the courtyard. The location is...

Stayed with a group of friends and family for a graduation. The hotel did a good job of locating us all together on one side of the 5th floor. The desk staff were helpful and friendly. The lobby /lounge is comfortable, a couple nights they had a d.j. which was not that great. The a la cart breakfast treats in...
