This grand old hotel is beautifully updated and in the heart of the business district. Charm and style abounds, and the bathroom is insane, including flat screen TV in the bathtub. Seriously. Very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Awesome is right, thank you for the awesome review! We look forward to becoming your home away from home in Mpls. Invite your coworkers to come experience The Grand on the next adventure. Social hour is a must as well as a nightcap in The SIX15 Room. -Mike

This hotel has an upscale vibe for a reasonable price. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and full of wonderful amenities to make your stay awesome. They have a free wine happy hour and make great drinks at the bar. You also have access to a beautiful pool and the Minneapolis Athletic Club. Their service was wonderful and it was within...

Lovely hotel, as I expect from Kimpton. Historic structure was renovated for a modern hotel with some interesting touches. Great staff to help with everything we needed and stay was relaxing. Wifi was good, but needed to join their rewards club to get service in room (though this is free to join).

The good: I loved this hotel! The room was quiet and clean and comfortable. The bathroom actually had enough counterspace and even drawers(!) for toiletries. The terry cloth robes felt luxurious. We had a drink and appetizers in the bar and the food was several steps above typical bar food. I enjoyed the bar's quiet, comfortable seating. The bad: parking....

Our 6-year-old wanted to stay at this hotel for her birthday because our dogs could stay there too. We arrived at our room to find a birthday card, gift bag with bubbles and Play-Doh, and a treat tray (with gummies, chips, nuts, and chocolate) created by Mariah and Wendy. There were comfy dog beds, dog dishes and poop bags to...

I dread "boutique" hotels. The word is usually used to mean small. Looking at their website, it seems I was upgraded. (traveled with a group) so it definitely wasn't small! As I can't say what the standard rooms are like, this is a review of the premier king room. Everything in my room was impeccable. Clean and crisp, no sense...

I had a horrible night. Chain smoker in the next room and the smoke went into the hall and into my room. Also next to some guy with TV volume at 50 at 3 am. I contacted management and they did not seem to care at all.

Enjoyed my stay(s) at the Kimpton while being in town for work. I was able to get a pretty decent deal the three separate times that I stayed there, and the access to the gym alone was worth it. Quiet room, access to zebra robes - who could ask for more? The only downside would be that room service was...
