Carol & Bill are very gracious hosts. The stories they shared with us made for wonderful breakfast conversation. We felt right at home. Their dog, iort, was just as friendly. We spent most the evening in the room relaxing by the fireplace, jacuzzi and COMFY bed. The towels are also SO soft. There is a brewery within walking distance with...

My husband and I had never stayed at a B&B before and am so thankful we decided to give this one a try. Hosts were so sweet and accommodating, food was delicious. Train was a bit scary at first, but we slept good regardless. Having a huge bathtub meant for two was very nice also.

The hosts of this bed and breakfast are exceptional. Every detail has been thought of. The food and room and views are gorgeous. Many birds to see. The downfall - the train comes throughout the night and is a stone's throw from the house. The whistle did not blow and their are ear plugs near the bed. Our reason for...

My husband and I actually liked this B&Bt, however didn't like how close it was to the train. We didn't realize when everyone referred to the train in their reviews that the train was literally 20 yards from the house, so we were woken up several times each night by the train. We were also "forced" to eat breakfast upstairs....

We just celebrated our 40th anniversary and decided to go kayaking on the Mississippi River - Reads Landing was a perfect spot... The B&B was fantastic! Carol and Bill were such wonderful hosts ~ our room was perfect, we had the garden suite so were able to walk to the Brewery ... just down the street. Even though the train...

We stayed with Bill and Carol last weekend. It was the first time we ever stayed at a B&B. It was absolutely wonderful!! The area attractions were many and we need to go back because we didn't have time to see them all. Bill and Carol were the nicest people we have met in our travels. The food was fabulous...

My wife and I had a wonderful stay with Carol & Bill for a couple of days this Thanksgiving. The room was perfect with a comfortable bed and fireplace. The sitting room on the river side also gets warmed by the same fireplace and if you want to soak in the jacuzzi while enjoying the fire and the view, you...

Bill and Carol made us feel like we were staying with family. They are very welcoming and a joy to visit with. We enjoyed our "treats" before breakfast while sitting in the front of our suite with a great view of Lake Pepin watching the barges, birds, boats and even the Queen of the Mississippi paddleboat go by. The breakfasts...

I spent 2 days here in August in order to get some time away and work on a project. Carol and Bill create a very pleasant, hospitable atmosphere. I got in some good work time, enjoyed meals at River's Nest and at the Reed's Landing Brewpub and got a spectacular view of Lake Pepin. And it's near LARK Toys and...

Bill and Carol are a lovely couple and know what true hospitality means..... We spent one night and needed to be up early the next morning. They were very flexible to our specific needs. The jacuzzi is excellent, a fireplace sits right next to it. The train was loud, yet we were not bothered by the many that passed as...
