My husband is a Mayo patient and we required an overnight. We had never stayed here and decided to try it. Yes, the room is small, but we knew that and didn't care. It was also immaculate, the refrigerator worked fine, and the bed comfortable. What we did not expect and what made the night mostly unbearable was the lack...

Run down hotel, or motel whatever you want to call it. Creepy night scenery. tv makes your ears ring, air conditioner barely works, even seen a guy walking out of his room basically naked which was kind of awkward... only one of the lamps work in our room and feels like I'm sleeping on wood. Wouldn't recommend unless you're on...

This is a cheap quiet place to stay in Rochester. Located in quiet area. There is easy access to Mayo. No hot breakfast but juice & fruit available. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and attentive. There is plenty of parking and close to eating places and mall.

We were shocked at the state of this hotel. It is very rundown, dirty, small rooms, poor layout, fridge and coffee maker were not easily accessible, and no elevators. We checked out after the first night and went to a different hotel. In addition the heating and air conditioning controls were not easy to reach without standing on a chair....

We needed a budget-priced place to stay for an overnight in Rochester. (Early morning surgery scheduled.) Even though the Red Carpet Inn has been around a long time, it is VERY WELL MAINTAINED. Furnishings are a bit old, but the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were immaculate. It may be the most quiet motel I've ever experienced. Hair...

The beds were hard to our liking. The breakfast was very small. The air-conditioning was loud but worked really well. But for the price it definitely was great. If your on a tight budget I recommended.

This is an older facility but exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff very courteous and friendly. Firm but comfortable beds. Safe location and environment. We needed an affordable place to stay while having a procedure at Mayo Clinic (one major bonus was the free hourly shuttle service from the motel to the hospital and clinic). This is a no frills...

Little bit out of style, but the room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable with nice clean sheets. Staff that we dealt with was superb. Would definitely stay here again when I was in town. no elevator in the building, so if you have problems with stairs, make sure to ask for ground floor.

Room was nice and big! Workers friendly but not overly. Steps going up to 2nd and 3rd floor look sad not carpet on them but they have slip strips on them. Cont. breakfast was bad. The rolls tasted day old and only that and orange juice. Would I stay there again? yes

A basic economical stop. Friendly staff. Room older but clean. Beds firm but very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is in a very small area (right where you check-in), but the little cinnamon rolls were good and it met the need. All in all we got what we paid for so no complaints.
