Location: This location is tied directly tied into Rochestor's famous "subway", a series of underground tunnels which allows walking access to the Mayo Clinic campus and the other buildings. This is especially convenient for those frigid winter months or for anyone having several appointments throughout the day at Mayo. Room: Our family ( 2 pre-teens and 2 adults) stayed in...

I travel once a month to Rochester and have stayed at the other two name brand hotels. I am a diamond Hilton and a Platinum for life Marriott. I am sorry to say for the others this facility provided the best in customer service from front desk to restaurants. Smiles and happy greetings ruled the day. Rooms were smaller and...

During my stay, with a cozy bed, the front desk was lovely and it felt great to get some real rest during business as usual, it was amazing and also the Marriott restaurant as well. The food was good with plenty of options but, their hostess "Ariel, is always a light to be blessed by when we come here, that...

My husband and I travel to Rochester annually for physicals at the Mayo Clinic Executive Program. The location of this hotel is ideal. Once you valet your car at the entrance, Guests may reach the Mayo through the Subway system and never have the need to go outside or get into their car. Numerous restaurants can be reached via the...

I have reviewed this hotel before, but I need to give a major shout out to the OUTSTANDING staff, first and foremost Pam in concierge. She made sure our every dietary needs were met and was so completely professional in every way. If you are looking for a comforting stay, this hotel is top notch. Spring for the concierge level...

We stay at Marriott when we travel, so we typically know what to expect in terms of service. We booked a concierge level room with lounge. The service was excellent at some times but lacking at others. I called a few hours ahead to inform of our 11pm check-in. When we got there there was no valet nor bell service....

If you can overlook the dingy, dark and outdated rooms desperately in need of repairs and an overhaul, then this is the best place to stay when visiting Mayo Clinic. This was my fifth or sixth visit, and I would return, but with reservations and brighter light bulbs of my own. Staff: The front desk and the rest of the...

From my first call to the Rochester Marriot Mayo Clinic Area, I was connected directly to the General Manager, Miki, who was genuinely interested in ensuring that everything would be perfect for my stay, and it was! After checking-in at the front desk where I was welcomed at 4:00am as if it was mid day (the front office here is...

On a hospital/medical trek, but was amazed by the local economy generated by the Mayo. Marriott is a HUGE facility within walking distance of, well, just about everything. Rooms are spacious and amenities are plentiful, except parking. Tim at the front desk is a rock star, and made sure we had a quiet place EVEN while a sports party was...
