First time to Stillwater didn't know where anything was and arrived in the dark. Found area with hotels. Pulled over to check prices on line and booked it here. Smaller lobby and breakfast area (when opened) but both nice well kept. VERY surprised when I saw my room, updated modern new furnishings. Nice new tiles in bathroom. Pool area was well kept and good to use, relaxing. Only bad things very bright lights on building and overflowing trashcan by front door. Glad I didn't let those items keep me from booking.
The hotel was clean but in need of lots of repairs. The bed was clean. The bathroom was clean. The tv worked. The pool was wet and the spa was decent. The breakfast was meager. Our room looked like a battle had gone on there. The curtain were sun rotted. One light and a plug did work correctly and were probably a fire hazard. Overall it was a quiet stay and inexpensive.
The title pretty much says it all. The king suite was barely big enough to hold the bed, which was not very comfortable and looked more like a queen size. There was no door between the rooms, so there was very little privacy for sleepers, and everyone had a direct view into the tiny bathroom. The threadbare carpeting was dirty, trash was found in and under furniture, and the room had more insects than I'm comfortable with. There was plenty of hot water for showers, but the tub definitely needs some sort of anti-slip mat. Overall a big disappointment. I will not be returning to this property.
My family and I visit at least once a week to enjoy the pool and hot tub for a small fee of $5 per person. The owners and staff are so hospitable and keep a very clean hotel. We love coming here and always look forward for "pool night" at the hotel.
The hotel is renovated nicely with modern amenities. Check in is quick and easy. Please parking is plentiful and a nearby lot may be used for overflow or trailers. Stayed here on multiple times during the week, good experiences each time.
