We reserved the King Suite in the main lodge for three nights and enjoyed our stay and the north shore so much that we requested to stay a fourth night. The staff accommodated our request at the same rate. We had a beautiful view of Lake Superior and the room was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. We found...

We stayed here for 3 nights and the view is absolutely beautiful. The food at the restaurant was delicious, though service was a little slow, the food and the view made up for it. The room were mostly clean, with a few stray hairs left behind when we checked in. Overall, I'm very satisfied with our stay. The staff was...

We came across the Grand Superior Lodge as the hotel in Canal Park Duluth in which we had stayed the previous days had no vacancies for our final night along the north shore. The lobby has a very north woods feel about it, and the front staff checked us in politely and efficiently. We were only able to reserve a...

We had the Beach House for 3 nights. The location right on the edge of the water was wonderful. Loved having the windows open to catch the cool breeze and hear the waves on the rocky shore. Just enough room to be comfy. Awesome Gooseberry Falls and Splitrock Lighthouse state parks are only a few minutes away by car. Grocery...

We stayed in one of the two bedroom log cabins. It was my husband, myself, and our three kids. The cabin was spacious and it was plenty of room for the five of us. It was very quiet and private which was just what we were looking for. The cabin had a living room with couch and a couple chairs...

Stayed here two nights and were very impressed. We stayed in the main lodge and found it to be quiet and clean with lots of amenities and a very helpful staff. Some of the extra niceties: large selection of free DVDs to take back to your room (we were even given microwave popcorn to with our selection), use of canoes...

We stayed in a Lake View room at the Lodge. The lodge is very close to the water and the view from our room was spectacular. (It is worth it to get a Lake View room. If not, your view is a parking lot and busy highway.) The restaurant was sub-par for breakfast - overpriced, very slow, and lack of...

We spent a long weekend in one of the 3-bedroom town homes. I have stayed in one of the newest cabins a few years ago, and I wasn't sure how this would compare, but hoped it'd be close. Excellent location near Gooseberry State Park. Great waterfront location with access to Lake Superior. Activities for the kids and loaner bikes and canoes at the lodge are a big plus. Pool and hot tub are also great. Nightly s'mores and camp fire was very fun.
