After walking some of the south west coast path we popped into this pub for a warming meal and a glass of red. The food was absolutely delicious, can recommend the steak, ale and mushroom pie and the lamb kofta burger! The view of the beach and the cliffs was super too. Looks more modern on the outside than on the...

First impression as we walk into the bar the carpet is very worn and the place is dark quite shabby. We ordered drinks which were fine. We were eating here and had phoned a few days before to let them know that one if our party was gluten and diary intolerant so they could arrange to give our friend a good...

Came here with my family as we were staying locally. We reserved a table in the window so we could watch the sun set over dinner and we were not disappointed with the views. The food was lovely with a good choice and reasonably priced. Service was quick and staff very friendly and welcoming. Perfect for a nice meal or...

Had an evening meal which was very good and then, out of the blue, this chap suddenly sat down at the piano and richly entertained us with his expertise. He left about half an hour or so. We discovered...

We stayed in Crackington Haven for 4 nights (but not at this hotel) but visited the restaurant and after the first visit to Coombe Barton did not see the need to go anywhere else. Small but varied menu of well presented delicious food at basic pub grub prices. Squid starter was light but meaty with a chili heat kick, the...

We pitched up at this pub a few days ago at 5.30pm for a drink. We ordered a burger and fries to share and to try as a benchmark for the food generally. The burger was delicious and tasted homemade. Fresh crisp salad items in the bun and the fries were fantastically crisp and light. There was plenty of choice...
