BRING THE LYSOL! Don't forget sheets to go over the sleeping matts, your own toilet paper, bring enough fishing line for 12 rattle reels because theirs can't reach the bottom of the lake. Also its $17 for 2 scoops of fat heads and a scoop of shiners which all died by the next day and we took care of them....

I paid over $1200 for three people to stay in a sleeper house for three nights. Having stayed at Border View Lodge several times in the past, I know what good service and accommodations look like. Our sleeper house was far too small, so we could only use two of the six holes at a given time. The rattle reels...

We were a party of four adults. Stayed in log cabin #7 with meal plan. Log cabin was beautiful, nice view, warm and cozy, nicely decorated although the living area sofas which were also futons for additional sleeping for large parties were not that comfortable for seating. Not a big deal though. Gas fireplace was nice to sit in front...

This was our first time staying at Zippel Bay Resort. We had a group of 12 that stayed in two log cabins. The cabins are showing some signs of deferred maintenance/age. Light bulbs burned out, dented appliances, cracked glass on fireplace, generally small stuff that really does not have a large impact on your stay, but you wonder why it's...

Stayed at Zippel for a customer fishing trip, eight people total. I've been to many similar resorts in Canada, US and Mexico. Zippel was friendly and the accommodations were OK. Restaurant was not so great; mostly fried food...better eating at a Denny's. Fishing for walleye was good. There was one other group similar to us; executive level customers. Zippel has...

Best Lake of the Woods trip we've ever had! Log cabins are amazing, fishing is lights out! Charters are great, awesome new bar, great selection of bar food and a swimming pool for the kids. Troll for Pike in the bay, quickly get through the gap and out to the mud flats or over to Big Island. We have limited...

A group of us chartered a day trip on one of their 30 ft boats. We started out with breakfast which they had ready for us when we got there. After that we got on the boat for a forty five minute trip out on the lake. We trilled raps and before we got all lines out we had a...

First impressions (with respect to outright appearance) were neutral. The newer log cabins looked really nice, we stayed in the house keeping cabins, these were a bit more dated and rather quaint. We stayed in house keeping cabin #6. We have previously stayed at arnesons, so that was my only point of comparison. Decided to try zippel bay resort because...

We stayed there for a couple of days. Our quaint cabin, not log cabin, was right on the water and we could watch the sunrise from the family room. I wish they had more tv stations for the kids. I had to buy a DVD player to entertain the kids. The owners were very helpful. My son was sick every...

Just got back, stayed from February 11-14..#9. Warm & Clean Cabin, all ice shelters we used were very warm, all heaters worked perfectly. We had the "meal plan", all food was very good, although keep in mind no choices of menu, lunch bags were also provided daily, nice sandwich, chips, cookie & beverage, very tasty steak dinner as well. Fishing was...

“we like one of the four or five newer lodges that have dockage for two boats right at the lodge. two newer ones at just finished. aOutside fire pits, just fun. Remember your stuff for s'mores. Don't recall bugs a problem. Nice pool with hot tub and showers. RV areas were busy but quiet. Anyway, were will continue coming back.”
