The hotel was fine, the room was clean and tidy. The staff weren't very friendly or helpful and the rooms are super noisy, you can hear everything from surrounding rooms. I wouldn't recommend if you want a quiet hotel. Great location though.

Although this is not a luxurious Motel, it had all we needed. Clean and tidy, and breakfast was supplied daily. Breakfast included 2 pieces of white bread and 1 slice of raison toast per guest daily, travel cereal, plenty of milk, butter, juice and spreads). Close to train station and bus stop. Good value for my family of 5.

I have stayed here multiple times over the past 10 years. I always for room 101, 201 or 301 which are located at the back of the motel and very quite. It's worth paying slightly extra for these rooms. A basic breakfast of cereal and toast is provided. Great location walking distance to Egdecliff Station and Shopping Centre.

We stayed in room 201 at the back of the motel for 3 nights. It is a very lovely room with large bathroom with a bath/shower. Nice older style room with 2 large windows looking onto beautiful gardens. It is on a very busy road however being at the back of the motel is quiet. After reading some negative reviews...

We stayed here three nights. the hotel is run by a couple who don't speak English too well. It was disorganised and we received a 11 pm call at the hotel from the owner that we had not checked in. We were in bed. We had checked in? The next daytime owner could barely remember any of it himself. Broken...

DO NOT stay here it is a dive. The people are rude and not helpful at all. It's filthy with cockroaches and dirty criters everywhere. It smells like sewerage and is shocking for the price. The parking is ridiculous. Ya wouldn't swing a cat in the place. Ya drive in and ya'l hit the roof that's if ya don't hit the...

Super cheap budget accomodation next to the city. Limited and extremely tight parking even for the smallest of cars. Suspicious guests. Use caution. Room was adequate size for a family of 5 but very dated. Hosts were very hospitable.

I was disappointed on check in as the motel appears to be old and run down. I was nervous finding our room through a cavernous walkway, because it looked like a centre for dropouts. However, the room turned out to be not too bad. Not fabulous but acceptable. Breakfast is provided which was decent and consisted of juice, fruit, cereal...

Got booked here by another hotel that had overbooked. Definitely not worth the price asked. Dirty, unsecure, unfriendly. No bottled water in the room. They advertise free breakfast - consists of cold packaged bread in your room - no condiments. No irons or ironing boards in the room - on level four and did not work. Stayed towards the front...

“I cant really give a tip about choosing a good room. We booked the last room available on the day. Our outlook was the house next door and we could open a window which is something I like to do. The rooms are not very glamorous but we did enjoy a good night's sleep.”
