I had the great joy of staying at Blue Footprints in June. It is a complete one off in terms of breathtaking beauty, tranquility and first class hospitality. It is the sort of magical place that makes you want to recommend it to everyone you know in the knowledge that they will be forever grateful to you! If you go...

We stayed in Blue Footprint lodge during 2 nights in September 2014. The place is unique, luxuries in its simplicity and beauty. The host Lisa is wonderful human being, taking care of her guests, environment, people and animals with the same genuine passion. We are not easily impressed, but this place really took our breath away. There are many (some...

This is one of the most unique and refreshing places we have visited on our travels over the years We arrived after spending a couple of days with friends in Joburg and were met at the airport by Liz who drove us to the Lodge (through the amazing sand dunes) where we were greeted by the team at the gate....

We were fortunate enough to spend 2 nights at this amazing place. Sometimes you are lucky to find the gems and this is definitely one of them. Lisa, Liz and team made us feel at home - this is a piece of paradise. We'll be back for sure. Thank you again.

It is our second visit to Blue Footprints and again our expectations were exceeded by a mile. Lisa and Liz of Blue Footprints were superb hosts, not just ensuring that all our accommodation needs were met, but they also accompanied us on our daily scuba dives at the neighbouring dive centre. We had the most amazing sightings of marine life...

I and my partner chose Bluefootprints as a place of tranquillity after our hectic schedule through Botswana and Zambia, and boy! were we right in our choice. This Eco-lodge is something out of this world. You read about the Indian Ocean but it is a diferent when you are living right on its shores. The chalets are set among the...

The Blue Footprints Eco-Lodge is a beautiful place to stay, away from civilisation as you know it. If you want to get away to a place where there is no light pollution and you can see the milky way and shooting stars from the comfort of your bed, or while walking on a deserted beach, this is the place to...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 10 days and having been well travelled, we can honestly say that there is no other place on the planet quite like this. In all honesty it took my breath away. First of all the lodge is very clean, spacious, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. At the right time of year...

My partner and I stayed here as a base for a fantastic diving holiday. We both thought it was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed at. We had lodge 3. The lodge is an open plan room with a huge comfy bed a shower, sink and toilet. It was always cleaned and replenished everyday. At the front...
